A comprehensive range of cold applied greases for protection of overhead line conductors. The range is fully
compliant with all the latest international standards and specifications and offers excellent protection against
fretting, multimetal corrosion and high temperature oxidation. The range exhibits exceptionally low oil bleed
characteristics and unrivalled high drop point ensuring migration from the conductor is prevented.

The OCG range

OCG 750
Designed to meet the demands of markets where cost is the predominant factor. This product uses a nonmelting thickener system that results in a drop point above 230C, with much less oil separation than
traditional lithium based greases.

OCG 1000
Utilises a non-melting thickener system that results in a grease with a drop point over 250C and extremely
low oil separation at operating temperatures from 40C up to 80C. OCG 1000 is approved to
international standards as a cost effective alternative to hot melt grease in standard phase conductors,
OPGW and earthwires. OCG 1000 meets the requirements of EN 50326:2002 with the designation 40A80.

OCG 4500
Utilises a non-melting thickener system that results in a grease with a drop point over 250C and extremely
low oil separation at operating temperatures from 40C up to 125C. It also has outstanding corrosion
protection characteristics. OCG 4500 meets the requirements of the European conductor grease
standard EN 50326:2002 with the designation 40A125.

OCG 5000
Utilises a non-melting thickener system that results in a grease with a drop point over 250C and extremely
low oil separation at operating temperatures from 40C up to 150C. It also has outstanding corrosion
protection characteristics. OCG 5000 is approved by UK National Grid to NGTS 3.4.2 and NGTS 3.4.12
and meets the requirements of the European conductor grease standard EN 50326:2002 with the
designation 40A150.

OCG 6000
Is an advanced, fully synthetic grease specifically developed for the protection of high temperature, low
sag GAP (GTACSR and GZTACSR) overhead conductors. The unique combination of additives and base
fluids delivers extreme thermal stability.
OCG 6000 utilises a non-melting thickener system that results in a grease with a drop point over 300C
and extremely low oil separation at operating temperatures from 40C up to 230C. OCG 6000 is
approved by National Grid to NGTS 3.4.2 and NGTS 3.4.13 and meets the requirements of the European
conductor grease standard EN 50326:2002 with the designation 40A210.

Pack sizes
OCG products are available in 180kg drums.
