Instrumentation and Process Control

1. Introduction:
Instrumentation and process control has very wide applications, right from gaming consoles
to chemical plants, power stations, aircrafts, spaceships, just to mention a few where
automatic control and measurement is a challenge.

4.5. Virtual Lab:

Virtual lab will consist of open source software lab and virtual instruments. Trainee may use
any lab software of his/her choice other than the recommended open source software with
the virtual instruments for practice purposes.
4.6. Open Source Lab Software:
Open source lab software will be downloadable from the internet free of cost according to
instructions given in the study material. Trainee may download it, install it according to
study provided by us, and create software with the example provided in our study material.
4.7. Virtual Instrumentation:
Virtual instruments can be downloaded from our web site upon registration with us. These
are purely for academic use only, no commercial use rights will be guaranteed implicitly,
though if required can be purchased separately.
4.8. Virtual Instrumentation Training:
Virtual Instrumentation Training will be available on line as well as off site at our physical
labs. We provide hands on training on select actual instruments in our physical labs in select
cities across India.
4.9. Virtual Instrumentation Sponsors:
Virtual Instruments are sponsored by reputed manufacturers and provide the virtual
functionality of their actual instruments.
4.10.
Factory Visits:
We provide the opportunity to visit in the factories to see actual instruments (equivalent to
virtual instruments) in work.
5.1. Process Control Practical:
5.2. Measure and Analysis Practical:
