National Economic Development Policy Roadshow
A roadshow which consist of informative packed programs related to the current issues and
how does it relates to National Economic Development.
These roadshows will be focused to the youth generations specifically in varsities who is the
future to drive Malaysia rapid development towards achieving National Economic Policy and
Vision 2020.

PROPOSAL SUMMARY

Malaysia has undergone and still thriving towards a better nation by implementing and
executing many plans and strategies and the key plan which is carried out by Malaysia
currently is the National Economic Development Policy which is well structured to drive the
Vision 2020 objective. Youth generation will be playing a very significant role as the front
liner to achieve this National Objective, where their involvement in every single sector
resembles a major change and impact especially today with the technology advancement is
borderless. There a total of 17 Key Policies under the National Economic Development Policy
and Malaysian Youth have already been playing their role in this every field, without knowing
that they are under a very comprehensive development structure and being responsible to drive
the policies to achieve the ultimate objective.
Young Professional Bureau is structuring a platform to prepare every youth in the country
exclusively the higher education graduates to enroll in the National Development and know
their part as a significant role in this system. A roadshow is being set up, aimed to be launched
to the whole Malaysia where during this exclusive roadshow reach their specific locations, the
graduates in each University is packed with the information on how are they going to emerge
into a more knowledgeable generation and being able to support the rapid growth of the country.

RELEVENCE

Awareness is a very important factor to be achieved for any implementation especially the
awareness which contributes to the rise and fall of a national economic function. Young
Professional Bureau is taking this as an opportunity, for a special task which is delivering the
existing massive structure of the National Economic Development Policy in an attractive
package to the future talents. Structuring a Roadshow to all the Public Universities around
Malaysia and delivering the awareness while creating an opportunity for each and every
graduate to understand their status as national talents who will be a major part in the national
development. This provides a better basic for the student before them entering the real world
outside. While the government as the policy maker benefiting to have a better knowledgeable
community which is ready to take up challenges and bring the Vision 2020 towards
realization.
OBJECTIVE

Bridging youth in parallel with National Development will be the whole focus of this
Roadshow. Graduates will be prepared to become the front liners of the country. The main
objective to be achieved from this Roadshow:
1. To discuss and debate about the current issues which is related to the National Policy.
2. Deliver all the 17 National Key Policy to each graduates and involve them as part of
the policy making generation.
3. To create awareness on all the opportunity which is ready for grab exclusively created
for the youth generation.
4. To identify prominent candidates to be mentor under government agencies, to become
a boost for the system.
5. Create a youth team to deliver the message and information related to the National
Policy further down to the root.

ACTION PLAN
The execution structure of this roadshow covers a few area to create a sustainable system which will be applied
throughout the program being conducted at each recognized location. Dividing a working plan for each and
every area of the system creates more flexibility and systematic to reduce the risk and increase the efficiency in
time, workforce, budget and the impact.
Areas of Roadshow Plan

The duration which sets the KPI is an important factor where, a specific date
will be announced to a public university 2 months early and once
confirmation is done, the Action team will start their role.

Location will be followed from the order of North to South Public University.
A strategic location in each University will be identified and pre-booked with
collaboration of Action team and the Student Council Representative.

Publicity is the key of this program, the media team of YPB will recognize
all the available medium of publicizing the event in particular location and
create the platform for Action team to execute with Student Council
Representative.

Planning team is the Core team here where, based on situations given, they
brings in the best ideas into conducting these roadshow either in a forum,
exhibition or other ways which suits the best. They will be also responsible
bringing in the best person to pull the crowd in and get the hottest topic in
the country to be discussed. They also need to source the best design team
for the Publicity works and deliver the outputs to the working group.

Working group will be the front liner of the group who will be mostly from
the student council volunteers itself. They will be helping the planning
team for the venue setup, publicity, on the day setup and preparing all the
necessary items for the event and speakers.

Engagement
group
Engagement group will be from both site where selected prominent student
will be taken along with the team to meet and deal with the prominent
speakers and exhibitors. They will be inviting the VIPs, and also deal with
the University management to provide all the approval necessary.

1. Number of attendees more than the registered participant.


2. Availability of VIPs, Speaker and Graduates at the same time.
3. Volunteers.
EVALUATION SYSTEM
The project impact success is measured under the Key Performance Index (KPI) criteria and also the
feedback report which is collected from every Roadshow completed. Based on this 2 evaluation
system, the relevance and approach of the program will be improved and adjusted to suit the exact
need of current situation. Besides that, this system also provides a database of the prominent
graduates which have been working in parallel with Young Professional Bureau to be identified.
Key Performance Index
Based on the system, the delivery for each task will be improved and reward based KPI
will increase the performance of each player in the group.
This measure increase the quality and the sustainability of every task which will be carried
out.
Response Feedback Report
This system provides an overall picture of the impact for each programs, it will be a
benchmark for the next program where more improvement and betterment can be
introduced.
PROJECT IMPACT
Project impact fundamentally related with the impact evaluation on the target group to look for the outcome of
analysis done to the specified group on the particular project.

TARGET GROUP
In this project to make an impact on creating awareness for understanding youth generation role in National
Economy Development Policy. Specifically Public University Graduates have been targeted for this project
where, they as the upcoming leader who will be the ear and eyes for the local community will have to take the
responsible to deliver back to the community about the changes and development that is going on
