Self-Assessments
My performance in class has been increasing and I had improved my
level and remembering some writing rules that I forgot or I dont remember. At
first, was difficult but with all recommendations and useful information in D2L I
remember most of rules and exercises practiced in other English levels the
principal to know which its the thesis statement. Most of the information help
student to put in practice all the knowledge and practice, especially transitions
with the exercises which improve the English level and increase the
knowledge of other language.
Some of the writing rules and how to make and use the MLA format
are basic but most of us can forget how to do it, because we dont practice
the writing or we have bad memory, should be necessary that each one try to
practice every day or make revision of our notes or read a grammar book the
know the exact point that we want to express or make the reader know.

I learn that in MLA Sometimes prepositional phrases aren't really

necessary, especially when you use them to denote possession of an object.
Also, try to avoid using too many prepositional phrases in a single sentence,
since they can obscure the main subject and action of a sentence. Only the
first page should include the whole heading and title. Don't add extra spaces
between the heading and the title, nor there extra spaces between the title
and the body of the paragraph.
Instead of the full heading, pages that follow the opening page should
use a header in the upper right corner: your last name and the page number.
Do not add extra spaces between paragraphs that is a business format.
Instead, make sure to continue indenting paragraphs one-half inch Use a
reasonably-sized font: either 10 characters per inch or a 12 point font. And
choose a font that is easy to read rather one that is decorative: Arial, its a
good choice. Scripted fonts are hard to read even if they do make your paper
look nice; it is the content of the paper that is most important, and making it
easy for your readers to understand that content is always a good choice.
The works cited page at the end of your essay gives your readers the
list of sources you actually referenced within your paper, allowing reader to
easily find those sources themselves. The works cited page is not a
bibliography, listing all of the texts you may have researched in preparing the
paper.

In summary, I should practice more with exercises to remember the

information that I had receive in my English classes, verify all points of MLA
format and uses. At moment to revise graded homework I improve my
knowledge, and as you said I should paid more attention and put more time in
corrections. Attention is important and crucial.
