- Ano gagamitin pang sound effects ( bibig lang o may gadgets ? )
- Coloring materials for complementary activity ( kahit putol-putol
na crayons )
- What prizes will you give away ? ( I can assure you that I can give
120 pcs of candies per group and a thin, newsprint story book for each
child )
- Others:
sock puppets ; masks; photocopies of activity sheets; scratch papers;
pencils, etc

Procedures for the Complementary Activity ( Give me details )

What type of complementary activity will you facilitate ?


Make sure that it involves a little vocabulary/
grammar/comprehension lesson:
Ex. i. Ask the children to translate Filipino words from your story into
English
ii. Ask them to create words from the letters of a characters name
iii. Check their comprehension : have a contest within the class
ask them if they
remember NOUNS, VERBS, ADJECTIVES used in the story
iv. Or ask them to draw their favorite character and write the
adjectives around the
figure

v. You can also prepare activity sheets like Loop a Word or Word
Finder
Skys the limit with your creativity !
- Make sure the complementary activity is only for an hour. Practice
with your adings or
younger cousins to check the time.

Registration
1. to be conducted in each Room ( Prepare a Group Banner on each

2. 30 participants will be assigned to each classroom, preferably from
the same
grade level, can be flexible to 35 if unexpected
participants arrive
3. Each class should be mixed Gammad-Bayo-Sta Teresa to promote
friendships
4. Prepare name tags that will be taped on their IDs or shirts

830 StoryTelling Proper Spend time for interaction with the students while
presenting your story.
Make the introduction or presentation of the story title VERY
CREATIVE
Let them wear costumes as well. Insert songs, poems, actions
within the story
such that you will use up more than an hour.
EXAGGERATE every word and
action you make. ADLIB a lot.
(If you think your story is still too short, then prepare 2 stories to use
up the 1 hrs)

highlights of the discussion.
