Arkeen Wear Resistant Sheeting has been designed and developed

in accordance with DIN 7715 by the Dunlop Research & Development
team. It provides the perfect compliment to Dunlop conveyor belts
to aid longer service life and give optimal installation effectiveness.
Arkeen has a variety of applications including bunker lining, rubber
skirting, seals and pulley lagging.
Available in a range of thickness and widths, with or without a
diamond profile and in hardnesss of 60 Shore A and 40 Shore A.
Arkeen is usually bound to steel surfaces. For this purpose, special
(cold) vulcanising cements are used. It can also be supplied with an
adhesive layer to facilitate glueing. Dunlop Arkeen sheeting guarantees the consistently superior quality you expect from Dunlop.
Powerful adhesion without grinding
Arkeen AL (adhesive layer) is ready for use so there is no need for
time consuming and costly grinding prior to glueing. The adhesive
layer is protected by a plastic film, which enables rapid processing.
The combination of high adhesion and high tensile strength in the
adhesive layer ensures reliability. The high coefficient of friction
prevents slip and reduces pre-tension.

Enerkol - the Dunlop adhesive system, was developed to provide fast and reliable
adhesion to metal and rubber surfaces. Arkeen can also be glued with most other
rubber cement systems.
