The Grundfos
Energy Check
An Energy Check is an analysis carried out by skilled Grundfos personnel who
calculate the energy consumption and CO2 emissions of your existing pumps. The
analysis will show if there are savings to be made by switching to more energyefficient Grundfos pumps. You will get a detailed Energy Check report including a
life cycle cost analysis and recommendations for optimising your pumping system.

The Energy Check concept improves the environmental profile of your
facility and supports you in reducing your energy and water consumption

Savings potentials of 30-50%

Pfungstdter Brauerei, Germany, had good reasons to

replace their existing system. Carrying out a lifecycle
cost analysis of the pump installation is a part of
the best practices which has kept the cool and sharp
Pfungstdter beer flowing through generations, and
the test results showed that replacing a still fully
functional technology made good financial sense. The
result was the installation of an NB end-suction pump
that increased efficiency from 45% to 68%, reducing
operating costs by 39%.
