4. Download the language version of the assignment template concerned from the MyVLE for preparation
and submission of your assignment. Your assignment should be typed using 12 point Times New Roman

5. Your assignment should be between 2500 to 3000 words excluding references. Do not copy the

approximate word limit will be assessed. The number of words should be shown at the end of your
assignment. / Tugasan anda hendaklah mengandungi 2500 hingga 3000 patah perkataan tidak termasuk

This assignment accounts for 40% of the total marks for the course and shall be assessed
based on the Rubrics or Answer Scheme attached. You would be given feedback on the
assignment before the Final Semester Examination commences. /

akan dinilai berdasarkan kepada Rubrik atau Skema Jawapan yang dilampirkan. Anda
akan diberikan maklum balas tentang tugasan ini sebelum Peperiksaan Akhir Semester
bermula.

ASSIGNMENT QUESTION
Select TWO pre-school classes, one at a Ministry of Education school and the other at a
private institution. Compare the two classes in terms of the following: (1) general
administration; (2) compliance to the National Preschool Standard Curriculum; and (3)
challenges they faced and solutions to those challenges.
Students need to collect data by interviewing at least TWO persons representing management
and teachers from each school and studying relevant documents and records at the two sites.
The following two documents are attached for reference:

Prasekolah Kebangsaan, and

Education Act 1996 (Act 550): Sections 20 to 26.

Refer to the guidelines provided in the rubrics given below on the expected assignment
content and also the basis for which marks are to be awarded for the report. Students are
reminded not to divulge the identity of sites and respondents involved in the study.

SOALAN TUGASAN
Pilih DUA kelas pendidikan pra-sekolah, satu di sebuah sekolah Kementerian Pelajaran
Malaysia dan satu lagi di sebuah institusi swasta. Bandingkan kedua-duanya dari aspek
berikut: (1) pentadbiran secara amnya; (2) pematuhan kepada Kurikulum Standard Prasekolah Kebangsaan; dan (3) cabaran yang dihadapi serta penyelesaian kepada cabaran
tersebut.
Pelajar perlu mengutip data bagi kajian ini dengan menemuduga DUA orang yang mewakili
pengurusan dan guru di setiap buah sekolah dan meneliti dokumen dan rekod berkaitan di
kedua-dua tempat.
Bahan berikut disertakan untuk rujukan:
