thingscanstillgowrongifnotfollowedcorrectly.Whilerootingand
flashingwillnotvoidyourOnePluswarranty,anydamagecausedby
improperflashingisnotcoveredunderwarranty.
ThefollowinginstructionsassumeyouhaveFastbootandADB
installed.
Step1
Youfirstneedtoflasharecoveryontoyourdevice.Werecommend
usingTWRP.Pleasedownloadtherecoveryimagetoyourcomputer.
Youcanfollowtheirinstructionstoflashrecovery,oryoucan
referencethesesteps:
Bootintofastbootmode.YoucandothisonyourOnePlus
Onebyholdingdownthepowerbuttonandthevolumeup
button.Whenyouseethefastbootlogo,connectyourdevice
toyourcomputer.
FORWINDOWSUSERS:

Inyourterminalwindow,findthefolderwhereyouputthe
recoveryimageandrunthefollowingcommands:
fastbootoemunlock(Youcanskipthisstepifyourphones
bootloaderisalreadyunlocked).
fastbootflashrecovery<recovery.img>.Imagefileshouldbethe
TWRPrecoveryimage.

Unzipoxygenos_1.0.0.zip.Inthere,youwillseea
oxygenos_1.0.0.flashable.zipfile.Copy
oxygenos_1.0.0.flashable.ziptoyourphone.OnaMac,youcan
useAndroidFileTransfer.
Step3
Bootintorecovery.YoucandothisonyourOnePlusOnebyholding
downboththevolumedownkeyandthepowerbutton.
Step4
Onceyouareintherecoveryinterface,thefirstthingyouwanttodo
isafactoryreset.Again,youwillloseallyourdatasopleasemake
sureyouhavebackedupeverythingbeforedoingthis.
Step5
Afterthewipe,gotoinstallandfindoxygenos_1.0.0.flashable.zip.
Confirmflash.ThiswillflashOxygenOSontoyourdevice.
Step6
Aftertheflashsucceeds,youcanrebootthedevice,whichwilltake
youtothenewOxygenOS.Enjoy!
IfyoufindyourselfwantingtorollbacktoCM,Makesureyouhave
TWRPorCMrecoveryonthedevice.Anotherfactoryresetis
neededbeforeflashingunfortunatelysomakesureyoubackupallof
yourdata.
