Field of application
The hoses of this standard can be used for high-pressure hydraulic systems operating on mineral-oil basis and with waterglycol emulsion, and for light fuel oils, lubricating oils, water and air. In air systems application only up to a max. pressure of
50 bar.
The hoselines are suitable for the temperature range from -40 C to +100 C.

If the protection hose is put over the hoseline subsequently, the width across corners of the union nut and the diameter of the
SAE collar must be taken into account when the heat protection hose is specified. (Table on page 4)
Then the heat protection hose is fastened on the hoseline tip with only one pipe clamp as in DIN 3017 on one end of the
hoseline to enable air circulation between protection hose and hoseline.
