Former US President Abraham Lincoln once wrote, [And] in the end, its not the
years in your life that count. [But] the life in your years. Tonight is a celebration
of both the years and the life of Engineer Edward Boado.
Good evening everyone, I am Patricia Bonifacio and I will be your host for this
evening.
All of us gathered here have been a part of Engineer Eds life- one way or another.
Kung baga, memory lane ang theme natin tonight as we reminisce the good 60
years Engineer Ed has shared with us. Tonight is all about you, Engineer Ed.

inyo. Because tonight, we celebrate you.

GRAND INTRODUCTION OF THE CELEBRANT- ENGINEER EDWARD

BOADO
Born on March 11, 1955 in Ilocos Sur to Maam Natividad and Sir Benjamin Boado,
our celebrant is the eldest of 6 children. He attended Ramon Magsaysay High
School and went to Mapua Institue of Technology for college where he took up
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He is a board exam passer which formally
granted him the title of Civil Engineer. Growing up, our celebrant has been very
hardworking. In fact, he stood as both the father and the eldest brother to his
siblings when their father passed away. Siya po ang tunay na big brother. Inuuna

we are yet to confirm this later. After graduation, Engineer Ed taught at Mapua
as a Professor of Surveying as his first job. Currently, he is the Vice President for
Operations in Oreta Constructions, Inc. Being as dedicated to his family and career,
our celebrant deserves this night to celebrate his special day with people who
matter to him. Friends and family, let us once again welcome, the man of the
hour, ENGINEER EDWARD BOADO!
OPENING PRAYER
Nephew- Mr. Kristian Boado
To start our celebration, I would like to call on one of the nephews of Engineer
Ed, Kristian Boado to lead us in the opening prayer.

WELCOME TOAST
Brother- Engineer Fernando Boado
to welcome us to tonights events and to give a toast to our celebrant, baka po
kakuntsaba dito.

[TOAST]
Thank you for that speech, Engineer Fernando!
SONG NUMBER FROM ANNABELS BAND
Now people say that the most widely known language in any part of the world
is music.
We have with us tonight, _____________, to serenade us
and to bring back memories of yesteryears.
Please put your hands together for ______________.

But thank you very much ____________. Im
We shall hear more of their amazing sound later.
PRAYER BEFORE DINNER
Niece- Ms. Raizel Ocampo
But for now, we proceed to one of the most important parts of this celebration:
enjoying each others company over good food prepared for us by AnnabelsDINNER. And so, to lead us in the prayer before meals, I would like to call on
stage, Raizel Ocampo. A niece of Engineer Ed.
[PRAYER]
Thank you, Raizel!
Before we proceed to the buffet tables, Engineer Ed will be going around tables
to have their pictures taken with our celebrant. Para po mas maayos at mas
mabilis, we will divide the area into two. Yung isang group po, proceed na sa
buffet tables. While the other half, you may approach the buffet table after
Engineer Ed has taken a photo with your group.

WORDS FROM THE CELEBRANT

Hindi po makakalampas ang gabing ito na wala tayong naririnig from the
celebrant himself. I would like to call our celebrant, Engineer Ed, for a few words.
[SPEECH]
Thank you, Engineer Ed!
According to famous John Lennon, you should Count your age by friends, not
years. Count your life by smiles, not tears. With that said, if we do count Engineer
Eds age by his friends and by the smiles he paints on peoples faces, hindi lang
siguro siya 60 years old ngayon. Siguro 100 na. Ngayong gabi po, nagkaroon tayo
ng pagkakataon to celebrate life and all its blessings. From tonight, we see
another year in Engineer Eds life filled with happiness, love and joy surrounded by
his family and friends.
Again, HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY ENGINEER EDWARD!
And once more, I am Patricia Bonifacio, at your service. Thank you everyone for
gracing this event with your presence and good evening!
