Silvani produces, in accordance to customers specific exigencies, a complete range of Fire Fighting Vehicles, used by Fire Brigades in urban settlements
and industrial rescue teams, petrochemicals complex civil & military airports.
As a system integrator, Silvani is capable to deliver these vehicles with chassis of all the different major manufacturers and typologies e.g. single
traction or all wheel drive, with 2-3 or more axles,.

UNITS FOR HIGH RISK PROTECTION

These fire fighting systems are realised to be used during large-scale emergencies.
They allow rapid intervention in any fire scenarios (industrial, chemical and
petrochemical, marine, urban) where long throw and high capacity are indispensable.
The pumping systems are more powerful than any other type of fire fighting system
used (generally triple that of a fire truck).
These mobile systems are among the largest in the world in terms of capacity,
throw, and pumping distance.

Water intake and 1st boosting pump stage combined;

intermediary boosting pump stage(s);
delivering stage can be offered as an additional containerized boosting section
with monitor installed on top or as a trailer mounted monitor;
all these stages are interconnected via a dedicated flexible fire hose network with
the aim to reduce materials involved and setup time.

Silvani avails itself of qualified personnel with in-depth experience in their specialized fields, devoted to cover all managerial and technical disciplines:
Stand alone and specially designed based on scenarios of full surface fires (and exposure protection) and can be operated from a safe distance with
simple and fast deployment.
Unlimited operation time, due to easiness of recharge (while in function).
Booster pump for low pressure water supply systems and additional containerized boosting modules to allow water supply from either a natural
source (through containerized submersible pumps) or the plant water main ring.
Pump bypass for high pressure water supply systems.
Stream or fog jet pattern (water or foam).
Supply of foam to external equipment (low, medium, high expansion), either simultaneous to or independent from monitor operation.
Water or foam flow capacity range from 8000 liters per minute up to 60000 liters per minute depending on monitor installed.

Cost effective
One unit can protect more areas and the same truck can be used to transport different versions of the unit.
The truck used to transport one unit can also be used for other services.
Several versions can be carried by the same type of truck.
No particular maintenance is required.

CO2 High and low CO2 pressure systems are designed to provide automatic
discharge for a variety of hazards risk and directional valves to protect multiple areas
with single cylinders bank can be used.
FM200 is a Chemical gas for total flooding applications and it provides rapid
suppression with a short discharge time and with a relatively small cylinder storage
footprint.
Our offer includes High Pressure system, which is used for large volumes requiring
longer agent flow distances and it is capable to reach up to 100 metres from cylinder
bank.
Novec is fire protection fluid for total flooding applications and it provides rapid
suppression with a short discharge time and with a relatively small cylinder storage
footprint.

genuine support to major contracting project teams during feasibility, conceptual
design, detailed design engineering, build and commissioning has been provided
along the years.

Integrated Fire & Gas Systems

Our system designs are based on customer specified PLC model and Addressable
Control Panels as preferred. The component supports the option of either single or
redundant system architecture for CPU and I/O modules, Communication Module
and Power Supply, complete with operating station including graphic display
pages. Silvanis offer is completed with its own design Addressable/Conventional
Fire & Gas Control Panel CS400R type.

gas that does not damage sensitive equipment.

Addressable and Conventional Fire Alarm Systems

One of the most common fire scenario for floating tanks is a rim fire and NFPA 11 standard requires foam chambers/pourers on the perimeter of the
tank, which is effective but two weak points can be identified:
a. The rim fires, in the early stages, are relatively small and may be managed by a smaller water/foam application
b. The foam chamber system are often fed by the general tank-farm foam system, that is normally quite large.
This means : inertia, delay, damage to the rim and unnecessary waste of foam
In other words: a fire that may be extinguished by a small and quick system, causes a larger and slower system to go in operation. To address these
negative points, RIMSEAL protection systems were introduced.
