In my capacity as associate professor of the Department of Spanish Language
and Literature at Fu Jen Catholic University, Taiwan, R.O.C., I am gratified to recommend Miss Yi-Ling Chou for admission to graduate school in Human Resource Development. I became acquainted with Miss Chou when she enrolled in my courses during her second to fourth academic year. She proved herself to be active in the study of Spanish composition and conversation. She was always willing to share her creative ideas with the classmates and not afraid of expressing in Spanish. In addition, she was also outstanding in my class, Art of Performance, with her energetic performance on stage and good manner in teamwork. I have observed many great characteristics in her during the three years. I knew that Yi-Ling was an initiative and independent student, seeking self-improvement constantly and I was impressed with her abilities in organizing, coordinating and communicating. With these features, Yi-Ling was elected to manage the graduation performance for the department from her peers. As a team leader, she allocated different tasks to her partners, discussed with teammates in seeking solutions. Under her operation, they organized a flea market and published a series of products for fund-raising and promotions; it turned out to be very successful and they got sufficient supports for the whole activities. In my impression, she was one of the most outstanding active figures among her peers. Her good performance in my courses, ability in leadership, and in dealing with interpersonal relations all characterized her to be an outstanding researcher in human resource field. Thus, I highly support her decision of pursuing advanced training at your school. Combining her multi-years working experiences, I believe she is well qualified for having a study with you. If you may grant a favorable consideration on her application, she will be an eminent student at your program and finish the study successfully. Sincerely, Miguel ngel Gonzlez Chanda, D.Th.
