Description :
Dalam industri kecil khususnya industri pembuatan dodol atau jenang durian, masih menggunakan cara tradisional
dalam proses pembelahnya. Kebanyakan dari industri tersebut membelah dengan cara manual atau pisau. Hal ini kurang
menjamin efisiensi dan waktu pengerjaan. Dalam mendesain dan pembuatan mesin pembelah durian ini ditujukan untuk
meningkatkan kualitas dan produktivitas industri kecil yang bergerak di bidang usaha pembuatan dodol atau jenang
durian. Komponen-komponen mesin pembelah durian ini dibuat berdasarkan perhitungan gaya, daya, dan torsi,
kemudian direalisasikan ke dalam bentuk aktual berupa prototype peralatan. Dari hasil perhitungan tersebut, didapatkan
gaya sebesar 8,1 N dan daya sebesar 0,13 HP sehingga menggunakan motor yang mempunyai daya sebesar 1,03 HP dan
mempunyai putaran sebesar 1600 rpm.

In industry, especially small industry making dodol
or durian porridge, still use the traditional way in the
process pembelahnya. Most of the industry is split manually or with a knife. This ensures less processing time and
efficiency. In designing and making machines pembelah durian is aimed to improve quality and productivity of small
industrial sector engaged in the business of making or dodol durian porridge. Engine components pembelah durian is
made based on theoretical calculations, and then realized to be in the form of an actual prototype equipment. From the
results of the calculation, found the force of 98.1 N and the power of 0.13 HP motor so that the use of which has power
and has a 1.03 HP lap of 1600 rpm.
