CHAPTER: 1: INTRODUCTION
CHAPTER: 1:
INTRODUCTION
1.0
BACKGROUND:
This project comprises of different sections, these communicate with each other to
perform the control task. The sections depend upon the distributions of the station to the 3
phase lines over towers and hence the supply approaches to the loads. Basically the system
automates all the alerts to the station engineers and ultimately accelerates the accident cure
process.
1.1
INTODUCTION:
In the present era every system needs to be automatic and fully controlled through
specially designed hierarchies hence no time would be taken over solution decisions for
any damage and the system can take over the working meanwhile..
Keeping that in mind this project prototypes the latest system smart grid station control. In
this system the major section that simply takes regular notices of the phases is an
automation controller named PLC. In which fully designed software for special grid
control has been programmed. The continues checking is what makes it more reliable.
For this purpose specially designed or instructive microcontrollers are being used so that
they can make an industrial level system that makes a setup of ASOCs inside hence
troubleshooting would be easy and time saving.
1.2
Our goals of the project set the solution of the needs of this time
period. So we shall be designing and implementing an efficient and fully
automated phase control system.
The reason why we chose this project was that it would help us to apply the
knowledge of most of the core courses of electronics that we have studied so far. E.g.
Electronics, Microcontroller Interfacing mechanical and digital interfaces.
Major goals that we will be achieving are as follows:
1.3
To reduce the complexity of the systems due to the manual system already
installed.
To increase the use of the digital systems so that it cheapens the structure.
To make a digital controlled future.
1.4
The automation is simply implemented by a PLC that replaces a lot of unnecessary features from the system to be controlled by more than one
controller.
We are also using the WEB page deployment that concepts this system a fully
informed and efficient system and categories this system under the high level
control systems.
BENEFITS:
The main advantage of this grid station control system is it is really forms the
massive system in such a way that the fault finding can be done less then the
time compare to the past systems.
There is no requirement of fixed protocols therefore it can be installed at any
location.
Change the PLC programming can make it more features and more reliable
than the old systems.

Chapter 2: VOLTAGE AND CURRENT DISTRIBUTION
This chapter describes the steps taken to design the voltage and current distribution
system that comprises of load and other circuitry for each phase
