Chapter 10 Tote Truck

CHAPTER 10 TOTE TRUCK

The TOTE Truck is comprised of storage tanks and sensors to measure and display the status of the
fluid inventories on the unit. These sensors may include weight, level and straps.

10.1 Manifold Display

The TOTE Truck manifold displays information pertinent to the unit. Eight tanks are
displayed along with primary information about each tank. Set up values are saved at
application shutdown and used at subsequent application start up.

Physical identification and location of tote.

Calculated Tank volume displayed in units of volume, both as a
numeric and graphic. This value is calculated using fluid density and
empty tote weight. The graphic is scaled from 0 to 100% of tank
maximum volume. Select this graphic to characterize the tank.
User descriptive name, limited to 13 characters
Tank weight displayed in units of weight, i.e. pounds. Weight will
include empty tote weight.
Tank discharge rate displayed in weight per time units, i.e. pounds per
minute
Tank discharge rate displayed in volume per time units, i.e. gallons per
minute
Other manifold display are selected through this button

Select the DONE button to exit this window

10.2 Fluid Density Display

This window displays the characteristics of the selected tank. The window also displays
a chemical library. Double click the mouse cursor on a chemical name to select that
name and its chemicals fluid properties.

User descriptive name, display is limited to 13 characters. Click

the mouse cursor in the field and edit the name

The density of the chemical currently in use. The user can alter
this value or select another chemical.

Display the characteristics of the next tank in the list.

Capacity of the tank, select the button to enter the capacity.

The weight of the tote (tank) with no fluid, select the button to
enter the weight. This will offset the manifold display calculated
volume.
Enter additional chemicals and their characteristics to the chemical
library. Window prompts will ask the user for name and density of
the chemical.

Select the DONE button to exit this window
