The purpose of this contract is to improve timeliness,


accuracy and completeness of STD reporting and
surveillance data. All healthcare providers must report this
data to the Department of Health or to Local Health
Departments. Planned Parenthood is one of many
healthcare providers to which the Department provides
federal funds to assist with electronic health record
modernization.

The purpose of this agreement is to provide chlamydia and


gonorrhea testing. Under the current agreement, the
Department will pay up to 4,400 lab tests for individuals. The
Department also gives the organization medication to
provide to these individuals.

Education Programs: Abstinence Education and


Personal Responsibility Education

Under this contract, the grantee provides abstinence only


education and a comprehensive sex education curriculum in
schools. Planned Parenthood is one of many organizations
(such as Local Health Departments) that receive grant
funding to provide this education. The comprehensive sex
education program cannot be taught during school hours
and students require parental permission in order to enroll.

In Fiscal Year 2014, a minor in Juvenile Justice Services


received an intrauterine birth control device at the request
of the minor and the minor's parent.

Crime Victims Reparation Payments
