NADIRA HASSAN LAW DEPARTMENT

Bachelors in Law (Duration: 5 years)

Keeping in mind the importance of the Law programme for young women, Kinnaird College felt a
compelling need to introduce law at Bachelors level.
This five-year joint BA-LL.B degree is designed for
students seeking a challenging and rigorous, interdisciplinary exposure to law and its related disciplines.
Eligibility Criteria:
FA/FSc Part-I with minimum 60% marks OR A-level in three subjects
(main subjects no subsidiary) with Equivalence Certificate for all
majors other than Urdu, Geography, Philosophy and Statistics.
FA/FSc Part-I with minimum 55% marks OR any equivalent
examination for Urdu, Geography, Philosophy and Statistics majors.
Please Note: Applicants can apply for admission on Open Merit and also
for Reserved Category (Disabled, Sports, Minorities, Province and
Balochistan/Fata seats). However, a separate application form must be
submitted for each category.

Eligibility Criteria:
04 years BA/B.Sc. (Hons) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 in related
degree OR 60% marks in Master after 2 years BA/ B.Sc.
The applicants should have done their Graduation/Master in the same
subject as the one applied for in the M.Phil Program except Business
Administration, Environmental Sciences, Stats & International
Relations.
The applicants applying for M.Phil Political Science should have done
their Graduation / Master in Political Science, International Relations,
Geography, Psychology, Sociology or Anthropology majors.
The applicants applying for M.Phil Biochemistry should have done
their Graduation / Master in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology,
Microbiology, Chemistry or other health related disciplines.
The GAT (General) conducted by the National Testing Service with a
minimum 50%.

M.Phil in English Language Teaching

(Post 16, Duration 2 years)

The course offers students the opportunity to carry out

educational research in ways intended to enhance
their own professional development and to enable
them to contribute to innovation in their work environment.
Eligibility Criteria:
First class M.A degree in e.g. ELT, Education, Applied Linguistics, TEFL
or TESOL and a minimum CGPA of 3.0 OR teachers / lecturers with a
good second division in M.A English Literature (Annual Systems).
Should have a minimum of three years teaching experience.
Candidates should clear GAT-General conducted by NTS with a
minimum 50 score within one year of admission.

The M.A in ELT being a professional degree is intended

for teachers of English Language and Literature, with
at least 2 years teaching experience who wish to
upgrade their professional standing. It is most suitable
for teachers whose interests lie mainly in classroom
practice.
Eligibility Criteria:
02-years BA/B.Sc. with a minimum second division
Candidates applying for English Language Teaching should be in
service teachers.

All application form must be filled in completely and deposited

in the above mentioned branches of Askari Bank during banking
hours by July 08, 2015
Announcement of Open Merit List will be on July 24, 2015.
Last date for Payment of Fee will be July 30, 2015.
Academic Session commences from August 24, 2015.
Candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria or fail in any
subject need not to apply.
