Product Description
The 162 Power and Distribution System supplies 100 to 2000 Amps of +24VDC power in increments of 100 Amps.
The system is self-contained, providing power, distribution, alarms, and monitoring within one bay. To create the
flexible power needed by the 162, up to twenty switchmode rectifiers can be used. Up to eight optional +24VDC
to -48VDC converters can be installed, for a total output current of 80 Amps at -48VDC. The 162 was designed
for ease of installation, incorporating all customer connections for loads, controls, alarms, and monitoring from the
front of the bay.
Users may choose one of four distribution options for +24VDC, and one of two options for -48VDC. All +24VDC
distribution options feature A & B sections. The 162 system may be accessed, monitored, and controlled from
one entry point via the meter, monitor, and control (MMC) panel, which is easy to use and provided as standard
equipment.
The system is equipped with eight relays for extending alarms and status remotely, and 22 LEDs for immediate
visual notification of alarms and operating status. A & B low voltage load disconnects (LVLD) are optional.
