At the end of the lesson the students will be able to:

Ok class before we start our new lesson
we will have a game. This game is
called Logo quiz
Is there anybody or anyone familiar
with the game? This game is a very
popular application for smartphone.
The instruction is very simple just make
a guess on the logo presented. There
are set of letters that serves as a hint,
it is located below every picture.

Each correct logo you answered we will


catch every first letter from it to form a
clue related to our topic for today. The
first word will be posted on the left and
the other word will on the other side.
Any volunteer to answer the first
picture?
Let see if your answer is correct
Very good! You may take your seat
now. The first letter we have now is the
letter L for the first word
Another volunteer from the class for
the next photo?
Ok, let see if your answer is correct. Ok
we now have two letters L for the first
word and I for the second word
You may take your seat now.
Any other volunteer for the third logo?
Yes miss/mister you want to try?
Let see if your answer is correct. Its
correct.
We now have three letters its T, E and
I
You may take your seat now.
(Repeat the routine until the 7th
response )
Ok now after all the correct answer we
gathered seven letters. Three letters
for the first word and four letters for
the second word.
Anyone who has any idea what is the
jumbled words?

Correct! Our topic for today is related
to the poem The Ruin

3) Lesson Proper
a) Introducing the lesson
Now class, I have here a poem entitled
The Ruin.
After reading this literary piece, what
have you noticed?

Now class, what comes into your mind
when you hear about word
repetition?

your own poem with two stanzas
consist of four (4) lines each. And
class, you should remember that the
poem youre going to make must have
word repetition. Then after five (5)
minutes a representative coming from
each respective group will present your
work.

Now be ready for your quiz, get one
forth sheet of paper.

Evaluation

Identify the word/ words that are being repeated in the poem and then write it on your
paper. From the words that you have gathered identify what is poem trying to convey
or the poems message.
The Meaning Of Love
To love is to share life together
to build special plans just for two
to work side by side
and then smile with pride
as one by one, dreams all come true.
To love is to help and encourage
with smiles and sincere words of praise
to take time to share
to listen and care
in tender, affectionate ways.
To love is to have someone special
one who you can always depend
to be there through the years
sharing laughter and tears
as a partner, a lover, a friend.
To love is to make special memories
of moments you love to recall
of all the good things
that sharing life brings
love is the greatest of all.
I've learned the full meaning
of sharing and caring
and having my dreams all come true;
I've learned the full meaning
of being in love
by being and loving with you.

Assignment
(On a one half sheet of paper)
Search for a poem that has repetitive words. Underline all the repeated words and
write the message of the poem at the back of your paper.
