V. Generalization
By means of news, we can get information on what are the happenings in our
community,school or in the country?
Here are the following questions that we need to consider in listening to a news report:
1. What is the event or happening?
2. Who are involved in the event or happening?
3. Where does the evnt take place?
4. When does the event take place?
5. Why does the event take place?
6. Hoe is the event held?
A verb may be a single word, as in enjoy, love, and interview. It may also be two-word, as
in look up, hurry-up, put-on, among others.
A two-word verb is formed by putting together a simple or main verb and a particle. It
looks like a phrase but i functions as one word. (Therefore,it is taken as a single unit.)
VI. Application
Group the class into four groups, instruct them to create their own conversation using
two-word verb. Let them present their conversation in front of their classmates.

VII. Evaluation
