How long have you known the applicant and in what capacity?
I know the applicant from the last 3 years; we had a lot of technical communication in the past. Right
now he is my colleague, working in Materials and Corrosion Department.

Please state the applicant's knowledge and experience of corrosion science or technology.
He has got a multidiscipline skill, in the fields of corrosion & material selection, coatings, cathodic
protection and insulation. Additionally he is API 571 certified, BGAS Grade 2 certified and has done
couple of courses from NACE which is related to material selection and corrosion. He is currently
working as a Materials and Corrosion Engineer.
He has worked with major oil and gas companies in the field of corrosion, and at present he is involved
in material selection, critical coating/lining selection and corrosion control philosophy finalization for
various projects in his current position. Also, he is a continuous learner.

Do you consider that the applicant's personal qualities are consistent with election to professional
membership?
Yes, he has got a quality experience and his qualities are consistent for a professional membership.

Regulation B, 17: His education, experience and certifications (API, BGAS, NACE, BE) proves he
completely justifies this regulation. He has a sound understanding in fundamentals of corrosion.
Regulation B, 18: He has already attached the endorsed experience and training report, and CV which
justified this regulation.
Regulation B, 19: One MICorr referee and my reference (NACE CIP 3) is provided.
Regulation B, 20.B: He is a Bachelor degree holder in Mechanical Engineering and has done 6 years of
corrosion related job, with additional corrosion related certifications and has sound knowledge, which
satisfies the regulation clause.
