Glenview AYSO fields

Guidance for marking the Area of Play:

The field of play must be rectangular.

The two longer boundary lines are called touch lines.
The two shorter lines are called goal lines.
All lines must be of the same width, which must be not more than 12 cm (5 ins).
Flag post holders are placed at the corners of each field

U-6 (Gallery fields 1-6)

The Field:
The recommended field size for U-6 games is 30 x 15 yards.
Field markings
Halfway line is marked the width of the field, equidistant between the goal lines.

Goal Area mark a goal area in front of each goal measuring 4 yards deep x 8 yards

wide.
Center Circle place a center circle with a six-yard radius in the center of the field.
Corner arcs place a corner arc with a one-yard radius at each corner of the field

U-7 (Gallery fields 7-9)

There is no specified field size for U7. Glenview has traditionally made these fields slightly larger
than the U6 fields.
The Field: The field size for U-7 games is approximately 35 x 18 yards.
Field markings
Halfway line is marked the width of the field, equidistant between the goal lines.
Flag post holders are placed at the corners of each field
Goal Area mark a goal area in front of each goal measuring 4 yards deep x 9 yards

wide.
Center Circle place a center circle with a six-yard radius in the center of the field.
Corner arcs place a corner arc with a one-yard radius at each corner of the field.

U-8 (Flick fields 4-6)

The Field:
The field size for U-8 games is 50 yards long, 25 yards wide (max).
Field markings
Halfway line the width of the field, marked equidistant between the goal lines.
Center circle with a six-yard radius in the center of the field.
Corner arcs with a one-yard radius at each corner of the field.
The Goal area in front of each goal measures 6 yards deep x 12 yards wide.

U-10 (Flick fields 1-3)

The Field:
The field size for U-10 games is 80 yards long, 40 yards wide (max).

The Halfway line the width of the field, marked equidistant between the goal lines.
Center circle with an eight-yard radius in the center of the field.
Corner arcs with a one-yard radius at each corner of the field.
Goal area in front of each goal measuring 6 yards deep x 15 yards wide.
Penalty area in front of each goal measuring 14 x 30 yards.
Penalty mark ten yards from the goal line.
Penalty arc extending in a eight-yard radius from the penalty mark.

The field size for U-12 games is 100 yds long and 50 yds wide (max).

Penalty mark 12 yards from the goal line, centered in front of the goal.
Penalty arc extending in a 10-yard radius from the penalty mark.

U-14/U19 (Attea fields 3-4)

The Field:
The field size for U-14/U19 games is 120 yds long and 50 yds wide (max).

The Halfway line the width of the field, marked equidistant between the goal lines.

Corner arcs with a one-yard radius at each corner of the field.
Goal area in front of each goal measuring 6 yards deep x 20 yards wide.
Penalty area in front of each goal measuring 18 yards deep x 42 yards wide.
Penalty mark 12 yards from the goal line, centered in front of the goal.
Penalty arc extending in a 10-yard radius from the penalty mark.
