Pre-Reading
1. Teacher shows letters in the big CVC books to the pupils to know the pupils
background knowledge.
2. Teacher asks them to read the alphabets in the CVC books.
While-Reading
1. Pupils listen to a Phonics Song.
2. Teacher asks several pupils to pick up letter cards from a box and teach
them how to pronounce the sounds basically.
3. Teacher shows actions of the sounds and pupils try to follow the teacher.
Post-Reading
1. Teacher picks up letter cards and pupils in selected group say and do the
actions of the alphabet.
2. Pupils sing the song of All Day Long on page 4 of their textbook with
teacher.
Pupils are able to recognise and articulate the phonemes of the alphabet.
