Dear Friends,

Charlie was our beautiful son, born on August 11th

2009. The Charlie Mortimer Memorial Fund was
created following the unexpected death of Charlie on
August 15th 2009. We were, and still are, absolutely
devastated by our loss. However, in his short life,
Charlie has touched so many lives in different ways.
The memorial fund gives us something to focus on, it
gives us hope that Charlie’s life can be a “living
memorial”. Charlie’s life can continue to help other
babies, children and families in similar situations to our
own.

The money we raise at the auction night is specifically

for the work we are planning on the paediatric
intensive care unit at Leeds General Infirmary. This
unit, and the staff, cared for Charlie so very well. We
feel strongly that we want to continue to support the
unit in any way we can – we have been given a long list!
Our work will be ongoing!

Thank you to you all for your continued support, love

and encouragement. We hope you all really enjoy the
evening, and that the joy Charlie has brought to our
lives will be radiated!

Ward 2 at Dewsbury maternity unit.

adventure! All visits to dig must be pre-booked.

Yorkshire area.

one day spring clean can be done anywhere in the West Yorkshire area.
She is very thorough! Just ask her toothbrush!
