FORM 2 Plans, specifications and details of the proposed packaging

2.1 Drum
2.1.1 The cable is package in steel drum.
2.1.2 All the reels must be painted on their interior and exterior surfaces to protect them due to the
weather.
2..1.3 Drum dimensions for conductor are described as follows:
The drum diameter should be at least thirty(30) times great than the diamater of conductors.
The central axis hole for handling reels shall have at least 76 mm of diameter.
The reels should be shielded with wood boards in order to avoid deterioration of the cable. The
wood boards shall be fixed firmly to the reels borders by steel bands.
The tolerance on the lengths of cable is 2% each reel. One reel shall allow for coiling only one
conductor. This means that unions or joints are not accepted in the amount of cable supplied in each
reel.
2.1.4 Identification shall be marked at the outer rim of every drum to indicate the rolling direction of
spool during shipment and transportation to prevent the coiled cable loosening.
2.2 Identification: Reels must be clearly marked on both sides, in an indelible form, with a Label design
approved by customer.
