While doing this task, we have decided to choose a children song as a tool to teach
English pronunciation. Above all the children song, we have choose the song called Row,
row, row, your boat. The reason we choose this song is because its have the slow tempo
and the repetition of R letter which we would like to teach in the mix ability classes.
Moreover, we also consider the word on that song, we choose this song because it has the
easy word in it and it has a few word in one line.
Next we move on to the creating of teaching aids. During this section, Ive experience
that we have to choose the right activity for the mix abillity children. We have make a choice
that our activity should be centered on student and the activity must involve all the student.
We also avoid to do activity that required them to sit back all the time, for the mix abillity
student, we have make an activity that required them to team up with their friends and also
used their motor skills on certain activity. Because we know, activity that have physical
movement will keep them from getting bored. Moreover, I also realize that it is important for
our activity to have the safety precaution, Ive also learn a new things about safety while
preparing our teaching aids. For, example, we provide a large teaching aids, so the children
wouldnt put it on mouth.
While carrying out the step of our planned activities. We also take a precaution to
ensure the safety of the children. For example, while doing the magic box activities, we
ensure the chair used in the activities is in good condition to prevent any injury. We carried
out the activities according to the right sequence. Furthermore, we also ensure that the
activity start on time and finish on time, so that every activity have enough time. In our
activity we try to involve all the children so that the learning courage among them can be
boost.
Even though we have plan our teaching session quite good. There still few things
that should be considered and improve. The weaknesses that I spot in our task preparation
is the sound that we use in the bom bom play activity maybe a little bit to hard for them to
pronouns. Because its a sound of animal. For example grrrrr for tiger sound. Some of the
children may be asking us about the sound if it really similar to the sound of real tiger. The
strengths in our task is we have planned a very fun activity for children and all of our
teaching aids is childrens friendly. For example the magic box activity that require the

children to walk around the chair and wait for the music to stop, it will gave them joy and
suspense activity.
Im convince that this planned lesson will work just well to teach the mix ability
children because our lesson is rich of activity to teach them how to pronouns English word
correctly.
