How do you solve a problem for which you do not know the answer?

First of all,I always visualize a new problem as a new chapter to learn.I never
hesitate to spend my whole night or even a whole week for a problem
When I do not know the answer of a problem I follow the following steps :
1.Make some analysis on the problem try to compare with the problems I solved be
fore
2.If I can't reach any solution goal at all then I google for it , websites like
stakeoverflow provide a very rich community for solving problems, if I don't fi
nd any solution till now I usually post my problem there.
3. If still the solution is behind shadows, I ask experts and helpful people of
the problem domain.
4. I love to explore source code of open source libraries. While the using 3rd p
arty libraries sometimes it happens that the exception/problems are easier to re
solve when we understand how the library itself works . The library itself may
have bugs in primary versions.
How do you deal with conflicts or disagreements in your team?
I expect disagreements !
Disagreements provide an opportunity for better ideas to rise to the surface thr
ough collaboration.
A brainstorming session is our ideal place to discuss our different viewpoints a
nd receive feedback from others.I listen to my co-worker's viewpoint, noting an
y points I agree with. Point out any common ground I find.
If still we can't make any final decision to move with,we discuss it with our se
niors and experienced.
If the problem somehow relate with users we take direct feedback from users that
help us to agree on in a common floor.
What is the decision making process in your team? *
Usually at first We judge the alternatives.Brainstorm and analyse the different
choices,and select the best choice.Always try to use previous experiences close
to the domain.
As we are a very organized team,as a team leader I role the play of combining id
eas and extracting the best solution.
I always evaluate the outcome of my decision. I observe carefully whether there
is anything I should learn and then correct in future decision making. Its help
s improving decision-making skills.

As a team leader, what are your Weaknesses and Strengths?


My weakness is I spend too much time on planning the project with my team,doing
their own work to motivate them even if its not that much necessary.This usuall
y lead to stress on my own portion of work at the end of project deployment time
i have to over work.
My strengths are
1)I am always confident of what I am doing ,and the way I can make it successful
through the best use of my team's ability and potential enpowering them.
2)I hold a good balance between communication and technical skill.I have compreh
ensive working knowledge on the platforms my team work.
3)I can work fine even if there is heavy work stress and never compromise with q
uality of my work.

What are your Team's Weakness and Strengths *


On of my team's weakness is we can't make any decision fast.I created the workin
g environment such that everyone of my team member freely express their opinions
and decisions.Although it leads to better outcome when we need to make decision
very fast as a team leader I take the responsibility with a little discussion w
ith my team.
The main strenght of my team is , we move with common motivation. That help us w
ork hard ,work smart together.All of us are very passionate software developer.O
nce we set our project goal, our deepest concentration is on it.

What are the top 3 problems you face everyday and wish there was a solution for
it? State the top 3 problems for all members of the team.
i) As we work on android platform. Usually we test the application in android em
ulator which is very slow where as iOs emulator is very fast.Though applying so
me effective technique we made it faster yet its not up to expectation level.
ii)Whenever we do contests or learn new development technology we have to do tha
t coming out from academic routine work.Often contest or project work for contes
t are on the middle of our exam. We really pass very hard time at that times.
If academic system dynamically include newer technology to regular content,it w
ould be really very useful to all of us.
iii) We can manage a very few time to work together usually on our holidays. If
we get much time to collaborate we would do much more better.
What will you or your team gain by participating in code2win?
Participating a contest always provide a better opportunity of prove ourselves.U
sually every software development contest have 2 or more steps,each of them are
very rich field to learn,to judge ourselves.
In code2win I hope my team will gain more professional skills through doing cont
est with other excellent teams. Evaluation and professional suggestion from code
2win judges will make us more strong.
Moreover we expect to get inspired through performing best among the best teams
of the country.
