EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

RELIANCE MONEY has cored competed in selling and has a very


aggressive sales team. Since it is a services industry where world
of mouth is very important. A negative world of mouth may
remove 10 existing customers on the other hand a positive word
of mouth may earn 10 customers. So service should be targeted
at a level, which not only should meet the customer’s expectation
but also exceed it.

Marketing is an important activity in any organization’s


sales strategy. Marketing helps in promoting the products in the
targeted market and create a recall value and branding to the
products. Marketing department perform the initial market study
for the suitability of the product launches; study the market
requirements in the existing markets to further strengthen the
market capitalization identity the feature needed for a longevity
of a product.

NEED FOR THE STUDY:

This project deals with the reliance money and regarding the people who
invested in the mutual funds of reliance money.To make investors aware
about the various recent schemes aware in mutual funds and to invest
them again in reliance money.
SCOPE OF THE STUDY:

The opinions and suggestions collected from the respondents under this
study can be helpful for the company to implement the new schemes
which they have developed in the mutual funds and to make the
investors to again invest in mutual funds.
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY:

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

 To study on the factors which made people to invest in the


mutual funds of reliance money.

SECONDARY OBJECTIVE:

 To increase the awareness about the mutual funds

 To identify the primary factor which made people to invest in the mutual
funds

 To provide suitable suggestions based on the study results


RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Research means ‘search for knowledge’. Sometimes it may refer


to scientific and systematic search for pertinent information on a
specific topic. Research is an art of scientific investigation.

RESEARCH DESIGN:

Research Design can be simply put as the framework of the


study. It is the guidelines for the collection of data and analysis of
data.

Descriptive research design is adopted for the study.


Descriptive research designs are determined for some definite
purpose with a help of structural questionnaire to gather primary
information. It is focused on the variable present in the problem.

DATA COLLECTION METHODS:

Selectively in the collection of data and linking that selectivity to


the analysis and drawing correct and valid conclusions from the
investigation. Sources of data include both primary and secondary
data.

PRIMARY DATA:

1. The primary data are those which are collected a fresh and
for the first time and thus happen to be original in character.
2. Primary data was collected through survey method by using
questionnaire.

SECONDARY DATA:

1. Secondary data on the other hand are those which have


already been collected by someone else and which have already
been passed through the statistical process.

2. Secondary data pertaining to this study was obtained from


technical notes documents, websites, and broachers of RELIANCE
MONEY.

RESEARCH INSTRUMENT:

A structured questionnaire was framed which contains various


type of questions.

The researcher used three types of questions to collect the data.

• Open and closed ended questions.

• Dichotomous questions (yes or no).

• Multiple choice questions (more than one choice).

SAMPLING METHODOLOGY

SAMPLING PLAN:

The selected respondent from the total population constitute the


“sample” and the selection process is called “sampling
techniques’. This sampling plan calls for the following decisions
such as,

SAMPLING UNIT:

Sampling unit is that of “who is to be surveyed”, the General


public.

SAMPLING SIZE:

Sampling size is about “how many people are too surveyed”. The
sample size is determined by,

Sample size = 50.

SAMPLING PROCEDURE:

Sampling procedure is about “how respondents should be


chosen”. Convenience sampling method was chosen,
Convenience sampling refers to the collection of information from
respondents who are conveniently available to provide it.

SAMPLING AREA:

RELAINCE MONEY INVESTORS OF MUTUAL FUNDS

PERIOD OF STUDY:
The research is carried out for 28 days

ANALYSIS TOOLS

The information gathered is analyzed by using the following


appropriate tools such as,

 Percentage analysis
 Graphical analysis

PERCENTAGE ANANLYSIS:

Percentage refers to special kind of ratio. Percentage is used in


making comparison between two or more series of data.
Percentage Method is used to describe relationship.
