PURPOSE OF MEET 1. G-LEAGUE meets seeks to provide competition for all swimmers,
using a format that it inexpensive to host, simple to organize and
designed for Grassroots implementation. Most importantly, swimmers
are provided with opportunities to compete with one another in a
friendly environment.
2. Competition also provided coaches with opportunities to interact,
exchange ideas and learn along with their swimmers which type of
training is most effective.
3. For parents so inclined, these meets also provide opportunity for them
to learn the rules of swimming, and volunteer as meet deck officials
side by side with PASA technical officials.
4. Times achieved during G-LEAGUE meets shall be submitted to PASA
for integration into the STAR Database. . Coaches should use the G-
League as opportunities for their swimmers to achieve qualifying
times for the National LC Swimming Championships (22 – 25 July
2010, PCEAS)
ELIGIBILITY The G-LEAGUE is open to all competitors in good standing and duly
registered with the Philippine Aquatic Sports Association Inc. (PASA).
Swimmers will compete in PASA club-hosted competitions in the
following geographic division:

COACHES Must possess and visibly wear a current PASA Swimming Coaches ID
Card. Only PASA registered coaches will be permitted on the pool deck in
designated areas. By their submission of entries, all coaches verify that all
their certifications are current and on file with the PASA office.
ENTRY RULES 1. All swimmers must be registered with PASA for the 2009-2010
swimming season.
2. Age of reckoning shall be AGE AS OF 31 DECEMBER 2010
3. A swimmer may only enter up to five (5) individual events, plus a relay
4. Entry times must have been achieved in a long course (50m) pool, and
verifiable by the PASA STAR DATABASE. No Time entries will be
accepted. Times achieved in 25-meter pools can also be accepted,
however an additional 1 second per lap must be added into the entry
time for seeding purposes.
5. All events will be pre-seeded.
6. Charges to entries on the day of competition will not be accepted.
7. For G-LEAGUE meets, PASA will not be issuing 1day passes.
AGE GROUPS The age groups for individual events will be as follows:
7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and over for Boys and Girls.
ENTRY FEES 1. Meet entry fee is 400 and includes pool uses fee.
2. Entry fees must be check payable to Ayala Harpoons Swim Club
3. Entry Fees are not refundable
ENTRY FORMS 1. Entries must be submitted to Elvis Baldonado using the attached entry
form.
2. Entry Fees must be submitted with entry forms otherwise the entries will
not be processed.
3. Use one entry form per swimmer.
4. Swimmer Entry Forms must indicate the swimmers’ PASA ID number.
ENTRY DEADLINE March 19, 2010 by 5:00 PM. Late entries will only be accepted if
accompanied by a P2,500 penalty, and provided they are submitted no later
than noontime on March 24, 2010. In either case, a confirmation email will
be sent acknowledging the submission of entries.

THE G-LEAGUE SWIM MEET SERIES

AWARDS 1. Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals will be given to the Top
3 finishers for each event and age band.
2. The Champion, 1st Runner-up, and Second Runner-up
clubs achieving the highest number of points will receive
a Plaque/Trophy and Prizes (Minimum worth of 10k,
7k, 5k respectively) from our sponsors in recognition of
their commitment to excellence and teamwork.
MEET COMMITTEE 1. A meet committee composed of the Referee, Meet Director, a Coach
representative, an Athlete representative and one (1) PASA-certified
Technical Official acting at large will be established to act upon any
administrative protest filed at the meet.
2. A P 500 protest fee must accompany formal protest letters to be
considered valid. Protest must be filed within 45 minutes from the
time a negative decision has been rendered.
3. The committee will not act upon any technical swimming Judgment
decisions, as these are under the jurisdiction of the Referee. The
Referee’s decision is final.
4. This Committee shall act as a review section in the need of an
emergency meeting, and their report may be filed with PASA for
administrative review, action or discipline if so called for.
SCRATCHES A P 50 scratch fee will be levied for every scratch made by a coach, on
behalf of any swimmers and for any event
ADAPTED COMPETITORS Meet Directors will ensure that differently able swimmers are allowed to
participate in G-LEAGUE meets.
OTHER INFORMATION Each participating club shall receive a copy of the meet program and
results electronically. They shall also be posted on the PASA website.
Those requesting for a hard copy of the results will be charged P 200 and
may be requested from the Meet Director
