Renege Genre
  Based on Ernest Hemingway’s six-word story concept,
used here to play around with the various tropes of
typical genre writing. These were written for the cover of
an anthology I edited called Sais, a 96-page collection of
six-word stories rendered to artful life by six artists and
designers. I wasn’t able to get that book published in early
2008 as planned as it’s to be in full-colour and it turned out
I didn’t have enough money for it. Does anyone have 60k
Php to spare?

LOMOPO series
  The nine dagli following “Renege Genre” were written
under writing instructions for a 2008 collaborative project
sponsored by a local design studio called Team Manila, who
are also in charge of Lomo Embassy Philippines. A lomo is
a plastic toy camera with Russian Espionage roots, being
originally designed for Russian spies during the Cold War.
  It was made to be able to take photos without using any
flash that might give away ongoing espionage work, utilising
only whatever available light in the area, however minimum,

arranged in an ever decreasing wordcount as the narrative
and the relationship diminishes to muteness.
  The original base text is a beautiful outlaw, written for
an altogether different project. A beautiful outlaw is a poetic
form where a name of a person or thing is addressed through
a process of deletion. Each line should ideally include all the
letters of the alphabet except for the letter appearing in the
