STATEMENT OF OBJECTS AND REASONS

In view of the rapid i n f l a t i o n fn
the r e c e n t past and r e d u c t ~ o n in v a l u e
of rupee, it. is proposed to enhance the
fee for attestation of documents intended
to be used outside India from Re. 1/- .to
Rs. 50f - per original certificate under
article lO(g) o f ,Schedule I1 of Andhra
Pradesh F e e s and Suits Valuation Act,
1956.
F u r t h e r t h e Government is receiving
about 70-80 certificate through 25-30
applications every day. If the fee is'?
increased for each certificate for attestation of documents, the submission of
unnecessary certificates'for a t t e s t a t i o n
can be r,educed and revenue will be
increased to the exhequer from Re. 1/to Rs. 50/-.

of attestation of private documents

the Inspector General o f R e g i s t r a t i o n
and Stamps of Andhra Pradeah, accepted
by the ~egistrar, High C o u r t of AndhraPradesh and also as agreed by the Minis t r y of, Home A f f a i r s , &overnment of
India, New Delhi.
The Bill seeks to g i v e effect to.ther

above decision.
