There was a song several years ago that had these words, “The forgotten the promises I gave
es I gave to you and I will not be slack under a church covering, this is your opportunity. Anyone needing to
devil’s in the phone booth, dialing 9-1-1….”. I don’t know that
the devil uses a phone, but if he does, I’d think he’s dialing 9-1-1
right now. There is a church on fire at 172 Poole St. and she’s
ablaze with the fire of God and he doesn’t like it. He desires to
put out the fire. He’ll use every conceivable way of doing it.
He’ll cause you to be “busy” so that you can’t attend the
services. He’ll cause you to be “distracted” so you won’t focus
on what God saying or doing. He’ll create confusion so that
you’ll be hesitant in becoming a “fire-walker”. Do not be
ignorant of the devil’s devices.
I challenged you on Saturday night to “guard your heart”. The
enemy of our soul knows full well and our heart drives us in how
we deal with the issues of life. If he can attack your heart, divide
your heart, confuse your heart….. he can keep you from
experiencing the fullness of what God wants to do in your life
and in our church. Don’t be confused about what is going on.
GOD IS MOVING!!!!! REVIVAL FIRE IS HERE! We had
probably the best prayer meeting Monday night as we have had
in a long time. We had a great number of people, including
young people. We prayed until we prayed through and the Holy
Ghost confirmed our efforts by speaking a word to us through
tongues and the interpretation. He told us that “He would show
us His glory, but He would hide in the cleft of the rock……
and He would send the fire.” What an awesome time we had!
You know you are having revival when people are excited to
PRAY! Prayer is one of the ways we continue to throw “wood”
on the fire so that the fire will never go out (Lev. 6:13).
The Lord also gave me a word during the prayer time. I had
gone to the sound booth to switch a CD to use during our
“purging” time and the Lord began to talk to me. I found a piece
of paper and began to write. This is what the Lord said to me:
“I see you and hear you, says the Lord. However, there are
still those among you that do not yet hunger and desire me. Do
not let them dissuade you from your pursuit of Me. I have not
concerning My promises. Continue to seek for Me. Continue
to search for Me. Continue to desire Me and I will send an all
consuming fire that will leave undeniable and un-reversible
change. Do not doubt Me. Do not limit Me. Do not forsake
Me and I will confound you and all those that are willing to
walk into the fire. Do not be afraid. My fire is bringing a
purging and a light for these last days. Do not be distracted
and caught off guard. The light lies before you so burn for me
and let Me use you to fulfill my Word. Have I not spoken and
will I not do it, says the Lord.”
I’m imploring all of you to walk straight for the fire. Don’t be afraid of
what God is doing. I tell people at the altar, if God is giving this to
you, it will not hurt you nor harm you. What God gives is good. Hey,
this fire is from God. It can not hurt you nor harm you. It is good.
HEAD FOR THE FIRE! That means that you cannot allow anything
to prevent you from being in these services. God is pouring Himself
out in fulfilling His promise. But there is work for us to do. We
become the catalyst for the fire continuing to burn. We “chop the
wood”. He sends the fire, we keep it burning. Feed the fire!!!!!!!
Pray, seek God, read His Word, fellowship with others that are on fire,
line yourself up to that Word and if something isn’t right, GET IT
RIGHT! Pray, seek God, read His Word, fellowship….. and oh
yeah….. PRAY, SEEK GOD, READ HIS WORD, FELLOWSHIP!!!!!
Revival Services continue on Wednesday Evening at 7:00 PM. No
regular classes, but then we aren’t having regular church either !!!!!
Then again Revival Saturday evening at 7:00 PM. Invite your
family, friends, enemies, co-workers, anybody and everybody! When
we get revived we then become evangelist. Once the church is right,
we should began to see more and more people coming to faith in Jesus
and accepting Him as Lord and Savior. OH I’M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!
Several things will be happening on March 28th: 1) PALM SUNDAY!
We will be having some more celebration on that day…..YOU CAN’T
MISS IT!!!!!!! 2) Church membership…. If you’ve been attending
here and you know this is where you need to call “home”, this is your
opportunity. If you’ve been saved and know you need to place yourself
become a member, either by transfer or new membership, needs to
meet with Pastor Terry March 28th at 9:30 in the CLC Building (across
the street from the Sanctuary). Come to the door marked “staff” and
walk straight into the room directly in front of the door. 3) Water
Baptism…. If you have been saved over the last several months, you
need to be baptized. We believe that all believers need to follow the
Lord in “believer’s baptism”. It is an outward sign of an inward work.
If you would like to be baptized, call the church office, 476-2977, and
leave your name.
