Commitment, commitment!
Commitment that made Abraham want to sacrifice his only son, at Gods
command.
Commitment that made Joseph refuse to lay with Potiphars wife even when he
could have, as no one was watching.
Commitment that made Daniel refuse to defile himself before his God by eating of
the royal food.
Commitment that made the 3 Hebrew men refuse to bow down to King
Nebuchadnezzars idol even at the face of a fiery furnace.
Commitment that made Jesus always rise in the early morning to go to a solitary
place to talk with His father.
3th person
Commitment that made the disciples, at the instruction of Jesus, to tarry in
Jerusalem until the received the promised Holy Spirit.

Gods commitment made Him lay the weights of our many sins on His sinless only
son; and that, while we were yet to be committed to Him.
Commitment that makes me desire nothing else - no one else, other than
God. Commitment that leaves me panting after Him, as the dare panteth for the
waters. Commitment that makes me go an extra mile just to make Him smile.
Yes, I indeed, wanna make Him smile. But, isnt my spirit willing but flesh weak?
Although I hear Him speak to me through every means, that I should be committed
to Him. But how can I? How can I, in this mortal body be committed to my immortal
Lord?

Oh, yes you can! Yes, you can! And yes, I can!
Not me, not you, but Christ in you. Philippians 2:13 says; For it is God which works
in you both to will and to do His good pleasure.
You can be committed to God, if you pray in the Spirit. For Romans 8:36b
says; for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself
maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
You can be committed to God, if you continually read and meditate on the
Word of God. For the Word of God is Gods mind. In getting conversant with His
Word, youll know how to please Him. Thats why David said in Psalms 119:11; Thy
word have I hide in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
5th person
You can be committed to God, by waiting on Him in fasting. Mark 9:29 says;
And He said unto them. This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and
fasting.
You can be committed to God, by finding strength in the gathering of the
brethren. For Hebrews 10:25 encourages us not to give up meeting together, as
some are in the habit of doing.
You can be committed to God by being faithful in the ministry He has
committed into your hands, knowing that Jeremiah 48:10a says; cursed be he that
does the work of the Lord deceitfully.
You can be committed to your studies, by studying. 2 Timothy 2:15 says;
Study to show yourself approved to God, a workman that needs not to be
ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

6th person
You can be committed to your relationship by behaving yourself wisely, for in
doing so, youll be out for the good of the other party. 1 Samuel 18:14 says; And
David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the Lord was with him.
You can be committed to those in authority. 1 Timothy 2:1-3 says; I exhort
therefore, that first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks,
be made for all men; For Kings and for all those in authority; that we may lead a
quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable
in the sight of God our savior; who will have all men to be saved and to come to the
knowledge of the truth.
Now, what is Gods response to your commitment?
Hebrews 6:10 says; For God is not unjust to forget your labour of love, which you
have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints and still do
minister.
Your commitment Gods faithfulness!!!

Isaiah 7:14-16
14

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall
conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
15

Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and
choose the good.
16

For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the
land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.

Isaiah 9:6-7
6 For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on
his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting
Father, Prince of Peace. 7 His government and its peace will never end. He will rule
with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity. The
passionate commitment of the Lord of Heavens Armies will make this happen!

John 1:1-17
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word
was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him,
and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life
was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did
not comprehend it.

6

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 This man came for
a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. 8 He was
not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light
which gives light to every man coming into the world.

10

He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world
did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. 12 But as
many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to

those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the
flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

14

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory,
the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
15

John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, This was He of whom I
said, He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.
16

And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law
was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
