Weather Condition:
From November to April, the northeast monsoon (amihan) prevails. Except for a rare
shower, this is the mildest time of the year. Daytime temperatures average 28 C (82 F), cooling
down at night to around 25 C (77 F). The summer season from May to July brings higher
temperatures and very humid days. From August to October is the southwest monsoon
(habagat). The weather during this season is not very predictable, with weeks of calm weather
alternating with rainy days. It can rain any day of the year, but a higher chance of heavy showers
occurs from November to January.

The Integrated Bus Terminal (IBT) located in the city district of Dao serves as the
terminal point for public transport vehicles serving the inter-city routes within the province and
also serves as the embarkation point for passengers taking the Pan-Philippine Highway
(AH26) bus route from Tagbilaran to Metro Manila. There is also a long-distance bus station
within Cogon market.
The city is linked by sea to the major port cities in the Visayas Islands and Mindanao,
which of major commercial importance is its link to the regional capital of Cebu City. The route
is served by Ocean Jet, Weesam Express and SuperCat several times daily.
Tagbilaran Airport serves as the principal gateway airport to the city and to the rest of the
province. Airlines using the airport serve only the Tagbilaran-Manila route. The route is served
by Cebu Pacific Air, PAL Express, AirAsia Zest and Tigerair Philippines using Airbus
A319 and Airbus A320 planes.

Telecommunication
Bohol is wired with telephone facilities that provide domestic and international linkages,
supplied by three service providers: PLDT, Cruztelco and Globelines. Mobile phone
firms,Globe, Smart, and Sun Cellular have also established in the province.

Power/Water Supply
The province is fully energized with the National Power Corporation being the sole supplier.
Actual generation capability of 93.5 megawatts is supported by the following facilities:

Diesel Power: 18 MW

Loboc Hydroelectric: 1.2 MW

Janopol Hydroelectric: 1.8 MW

Power Barge 105: 10.5 MW

Power Barge 207: 30 MW

Power Barge 101: 32 MW

The main water supply is coming from ground water extraction

Weather Condition:
The summer season from May to July brings higher temperatures and very humid days.
From August to October is the southwest monsoon (habagat). The weather during this season is
not very predictable, with weeks of calm weather alternating with rainy days. It can rain any day
of the year, but a higher chance of heavy showers occurs from November to January.

Accessibility
Loon lies halfway between Tagbilaran and Tubigon, Bohol's major ports of entry, each of
which is only forty minutes away by public utility buses, jeepneys and vans-for-hire that
frequently ply the North-South route. Loon has one provincial secondary port and six fishing
ports. The secondary port is being converted into the Loon Bohol International Cruise Ship Port.
Currently it serves the Loon-Argao (Cebu) route.

Telecommunication
Bohol is wired with telephone facilities that provide domestic and international linkages,
supplied by three service providers: PLDT, Cruztelco and Globelines. Mobile phone
firms,Globe, Smart, and Sun Cellular have also established in the province.

Power/Water Supply
Water is made available to more than 42 barangays principally by the Loon Waterworks
System, which has about 3,000 active individual water service connections reaching the
northernmost barangay of Pondol, the southernmost barangay of Song-on, all barangays on
Sandingan Island, and many hinterland barangays. The rest of the upland barangays are served
by Level II communal water systems. The border barangay of Punta Cruz, Maribojoc also avails
of water from LWS.

Weather Condition:
The climate of Cebu is tropical. There are 2 seasons in Cebu the dry and wet season. It is dry
and sunny most of the year with some occasional rains during the months of June to December.
The province of Cebu normally gets typhoons once a year or none.
Northern Cebu gets more rainfall and typhoons than Southern Cebu because it has a different
climate. Typhoon Haiyan hit Northern Cebu in 2013 killing 73 people and injuring 348 others.
Though most typhoons hit Northern Cebu, the urban areas in Central Cebu are sometimes hit,
such as when Typhoon Mike (PAGASA name: Ruping), one of the worst to hit Cebu, lashed the
Central Cebu area in 1990.
Cebu's temperatures can reach a high of 36 C (97 F) from March to May, and as low as 18 C
(64 F) in the mountains during the wet season. The average temperature is around 24 to 34 C

(75 to 93 F), and does not fluctuate much except during the month of May, which is the hottest
month. Cebu averages 7080 percent humidity.

Accessibility
Metro Cebu's Port of Cebu is the busiest domestic seaport in the Philippines. Along with the
ports areas of Mandaue and Lapu-Lapu, Cebu's "seaport complex" is considered as the busiest
port in the Philippines in terms of number of annual passengers. It is also the main port of entry
in the province of Cebu and Central Visayas Region. The port is located at the center of the
province's east coast. It is nestled in a natural harbor in the narrow strait between Cebu
City and Mactan Island, the latter providing a natural cover and breakwater, making the port one
of the safest and operational the whole year round.
Cebu International Port and Cebu Domestic Port serves container vessels and passenger ships
with destinations around the country and the world. The Cebu Baseport Domestic Zone is the
area for the domestic transactions of different business coming from and going to the different
island of the archipelago. It is dedicated to coastwise shipping with 3.5 kilometers of berthing
space, 3 finger piers and 3 passenger terminals.

Telecommunication
Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT) is the major phone carrier in the
metropolis and the entire province. Globelines Innove and Islacom, both subsidiaries of Globe
Telecom came in after the passage of the Telecommunications Act of 1995.
There are three wireless telecommunication companies serving Metro Cebu as well as the rest of
the Philippines. These are:

Smart Communications/Pilipino Telecommunications Corp., a PLDT subsidiary using


the brands: Smart, Talk 'n' Text, and Addict Mobile

Globe Telecom using the brands: Globe and TM

Digitel Mobile using the brand Sun Cellular

Power/Water Supply
Metro Cebu's electricity is mostly supplied from Leyte Geothermal Power Plants operated by
PNOC-EDC which is interconnected across Cebu through electrical submarine cables operated
by TransCo. It is transmitted by the state-owned National Transmission Corporation(TransCo)

through several high tension wires. It is stored and distributed by the Visayan Electric Company
(VECO). They put out 220VAC 50 Hz (VECO).
In 1974 the Metropolitan Cebu Water District (MCWD) took over in distributing potable water
to the whole metropolis after the Osmena Waterworks System suffered financial losses. MCWD
supplies potable water to the cities of Cebu, Mandaue, Lapu-lapu and Talisay and the
municipalities of Consolacion, Lilo-an, Compostela and Cordova from their reservoirs in
Talamban and Pardo in Cebu City, Casili in Consolacion and Mananga in Talisay City.

Accessibility / Access Roads


Bacolod City Mayors Office could be easily accessed through its main road Lacson
Street then Burgos Avenue. This route can be used by both public and private vehicles.

Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc (CENECO) distributes the power supply in
Bacolod and in neighboring City as well. Bacolod City Water (BACIWA) supplies the water
needs of the city residents. Other main sources of drinking water include Boro-Boro and Bocal
Springs, deepweels, artesian, pipelines and appurtenances.

Communications:
Bacolod has extensive communication facilities, among the best in southern Philippines.
Amenities include telephone stations and toll services, mobile phones, internet service providers,
telex, facsimile, and reliable messengerial services, including internationally known companies
and government postal services. It has ISPs, telephone companies, radio stations, TV stations,
cellular phone companies, and cable services for its communication facilities. Furthermore, it has
well-within the ICT highway with two landing stations and gateway to the world, both utilizing
fiber optic and microwave with three major telecommunications companies that can provide
redundancy via Manila and Cebu.Globelines and PLDT are the two companies that provide
landline and telephone in Bacolod. On the other hand, there are four companies that provide
mobile network and these are SMART Telecommunications, Mobiline-Piltel, Extelcom and
ISLACOM-GLOBE telecom. Lastly, PT&T and RCPI are the two local internet service
providers.

The nearest airport from base station are as follows:

Peace and Order:


There are 66 security agencies in the city that contribute to the maintenance of peace,
security and well-being of the population. In the Barangay level, there are 787 Barangay Tanods.
There also exists other peace and order advocate and organization.
Police Stations/ Substation (inc. Headquarters): There are 10 BAC-UP (Bacolod CitizensUnited for Peace) precincts located in strategic zones of the city. The city crime rate is only
10.5% and the city crime solution efficiency is 94%.

The first relay station is located at the first class municipality in Negros Occidental and is
545meters above sea level.

Weather Conditions:
Murcia, Negros Occidental has two pronounced seasons, wet and dry. The rainy season
starts from May to January with heavy rains occurring during the months of August and
September. Dry season starts from the month of February until the last week of April.

Accessibility / Access Roads:


Murcia, Negros Occidental is only a 30-minute drive from Bacolod City by private car.
Public utility vehicles plying this route can reach the municipality in about the same time. The
Municipality of Murcia is bounded by the cities of Talisay, Silay and San Carlos on the north,

Bago City on the south, the Municipality of Don Salvador Benedicto on the east, and the City of
Bacolod on the west. From the base station, Araneta road, a main road in Bacolod, may be used.

use of geothermal power. Bacolod City Water (BACIWA) supplies the water needs of the city

The second relay station is located at the fourth class municipality in Negros Occidental
and is 644 meters above sea level.

Weather Conditions:
Don Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental has two pronounced seasons, wet and dry.
The rainy season starts from May to January with heavy rains occurring during the months of
August and September. Dry season starts from the month of February until the last week of April.
The climate of Salvador Benedicto is neither windy, nor too cold with even rainfall distribution.
The coldest month is from December to February. Typhoon occurrences are rare same with
floods except during season when too heavy rains cause the over flooding of the rivers. However,
occurrences of these natural calamities are infrequent.

Accessibility / Access Roads:


The second relay station is approximately an hours drive from Bacolod City by public
utility vehicles and about 45 minutes by private car.From the base station, Araneta road, a main
road in Bacolod, may be used. The municipality of Salvador Benedicto is situated at the midcenter of the hinterland of the entire North of the Province of Negros Occidental. There are 22
units PUJ traversing vice-versa from Bacolod City to the Municipality of Salvador Benedicto. 4
units of PUJ plying vice-versa from Municipality of Salvador Benedicto to San Carlos City.
There are tricycles during market day and cargo trucks occasionaly. Also there is a Vallacar
transit from Bacolod City to San Carlos City vice versa every 45 minutes.

Commercial Electric Power / Water Supply:


Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc (CENECO) distributes the power supply in
Bacolod and in neighboring City as well. The water supply on the other hand are artesian well,
open well, hand pump, spring, water supply system by gravity, rivers and creeks.

The third relay station can be accessed using the Naga-Uling road in Naga City, Cebu.

Commercial Electric Power / Water Supply:


Visayan Electric Corpompany, Inc (VECO) provides the power supply in Naga City. It
also service the cities of Cebu, Mandaue and the municipalities of San Fernando, Minglanilla,
Liloan and Consolacion. VECO is the second largest electric utility in the Philippines. Its
franchise service covers an area of about 672 square kilometers with an estimated population of
1.73 million. Moving on, Metropolitan Cebu Water District supplies water supply in Metro Cebu
and also in Naga City, Cebu.

Telephone Communications:
