CHAPTER 6: HIGH SCHOOL; TAKE ONE

RENESMEE CULLEN

My mother nodded slowly, not sure if my reaction was

one of joy, or one of fear.

I felt more than joy, I felt the elation of the opertunity. Highschool,
after six years of waiting I can finally go to school I smiled, and my mother
relaxed. "I'll be downstairs in a few minutes, im going to get ready okay?" I
asked her, getting out of my bed. She smiled and nodded, "Alright, be sure to
make your bed. Keep your room clean too. See you in a few." She said and
shut the door. I leapt off the edge of my bed to my stereo, and turned on my
favorite CD. I ran back to my bed and made that. "This is going to be a great
day." I whispered to myself as i got in the shower. I took a five minute
shower, jumped out and dryed my hair. Brushed it, brushed my teeth, and
dashed to my over-sized closet. I pondered what to wear, but I was coming
up short. What did kids wear to school? Flip flops, jeans and a t-shirt? Sure. I
wanted to look nice, but not out of place.

I found a pair of skinny blue jeans, slipped those on. I went looking
through the four racks of cloths I had, and smiled. "Thanks Alice." I whispered
to myself, or so I thought. "You're welcome." Alice said, and I spun around to
see her leaning on the wall just inside my closet. "I saw you looking for
something to wear, so I figured I would come to help." She told me, crossing
the room to me. "Yeah, I don't have a clue what shirt to wear." I told her,
smiling. She reached out into the rack right in front of me, and grabbed a
fitted white and purple flannel long-sleeved shirt. It was adorable. "How about
this?" She asked me, grinning. I rolled my eyes and took the shirt out of her
hands. "As if you don't know." I rolled my eyes and walked to the wall of
shoes she put in. Physic physcopath. I laughed out loud. "What?" Alice asked,
and I shook my head. "I just thought of something funny.. You're a physic
physcopath." I told her, grinning. She laughed too. I pulled out a box of shoes,
and they were perfect. Purple and white patent-leather high heels. "Well, I
see my work here is done. You can handle the jewlry. Ill see you downstairs."
Alice said over her shouled, sliding down the slide. I laughed again, walking to
my jewlry box. It stood four feet tall, and two wide. I didn't see why I needed
so much jewlry, or cloths, for that matter, but I didn't argue.
Once I got to the jewlry box, I pulled out a dimond neckless. It wasn't too
nice, but who am I kidding, there were thirty four-carrat dimonds. I sighed,
and put the neckless on. I never let Alice recycle my jewlrey. I picked out the
matching bracelet and ring. I checked to see how I looked in the mirrior, and I
looked nicer than Rosalie. I stared. Woah, I do look better then Rose. This has
to be a crime. I walked out of my closet and sat on my little sofa, thinking if I
had to do anything else. I jumped. I needed my school bag, of course. I
dashed into my closet, and picked up the first over-sized bag in there. It had
to be a Coach bag, it just had to be. I rolled my eyes again, Alice was a
keeper, but she was insane. I smiled to myself, walking out of my closet over
to my desk. I had my school books there, only two, did I need to bring back
day after day. It was a notebook of blank paper and a daily planner. I also had
pens in there. I put everything in the bag, put the bag over my shoulder,
made sure my room was tidy, and walked through my closet to that pointless
slide. It was faster than walking, so it worked.

"Morning, baby." My mom said when I walked into the dining room.
"Morning momma, daddy" I said to them, sitting my bag on a chair. "You look
really nice, Nessie." My aunt Rose said, and I smiled. "Thanks so much." I
turned to my mom, "Where's Jake?" I asked. It was like there was some cue,
because the moment I said 'Wheres Jake?' he was right beside me. "Who,
me?" he asked sarcasticlly, wrapping his arms around me. "Mmm..." I
mumbled, everyone laughed.

"Hope you're in the mood for pancakes." Esme said, walking out of the
kitchen with two plates.

"Aw, thanks Esme. I appriciate it." I told her smileing. She set the plates down
on the table.

"Your welcome." She told us, putting her hand on my shoulder as I sat down.

"Yes, thank you." Jake said to her, a little late.

After a few minutes, Jasper walked in with a legal-size envelope. "I went and
got our scheduals so that it wouldn't be a show." He told us, pulling the
papers out.

"It was a good idea. Nice work." Emmett told his sarcasticlly. Jasper folded
Emmetts schedual into a paper airplane, and threw it at him when he wasn't
looking. We all laughed.

Jasper handed everyone else theirs, and I rolled my eyes. I had Algebra first
period. Everyone looked to see what classes they had together. "I have
honnors English?" I said, it sounded like a question, and it was.
"Honnors science, too." He sounded proud.

I had been home-schooled by my father and Carlisle, so I knew I wouldn't do

too bad.

"Everybody ready?" Alice asked, I smiled and nodded, as did everyone else.
Esme cleaned the table, rejecting my assistance, as always. We all headed
out into the garage, "So let me get this straight, Alice and Jasper and in the
Porsche, Emmett and Rosalie and in the M3, Jake and Nessie in the Lambo
and Edward and Bella are in the Ferrari?" Esme asked us as we entered the
five thousand square foot garage.

"Precicely." Alice and my father said at the same time.

"Okay, Ill go first, then Nessie follow me, and then Rose and Bella." Alice told
us. We all nodded, and climbed into our cars. I sat my bag in the floorboard
by me feet and started the ignition. It was three miles to Bellingham
Highschool, so not to long of a drive.

"Excited?" Jake asked me, and I smiled.

"You have no idea." I told him, grinning. Alice pulled out of the garage, and I
followed after her with my parents behind me, and Rose behind them.

I laughed out loud, "You know what I noticed? Usually the guys drive the girls,
but all four of the drivers are girls." I told Jake, grinning.

"Its true. Your right. That'll be funny to tell everyone in auto mechanics." Jake
said, and we both laughed. "You know that Edward, Emmett, Jasper and me
all have our fourth period together, and you, Bella, Rosalie and Alice all have
your fourth period together? And oh, we all have our seventh class together."
Jacob announced, grinning.

"Really? Thats great. I have one of you guys in every single period, except
third." I told him, which would be my time to chill.

"Thats awesome!" Jacob said, and I smiled.

"Oh, and me, my dad, and Emmett all have gym together, and then you,
Rose, my mom and Alice have it together, too." I said, as we rounded a
cornner. I then saw the massive building that I figured to be Bellingham
highschool. It was two stories high, and beautiful. I guess Carlisle was right
about nice cars, everyone had a white or black VW's and BMW's. Us four
Cullen girls had the nicest cars, by far. As expected, all heads turned to look
at the newest cars. The weirdest part about it was all eyes were on my car. It
didn't seem quite as nice as Alice's, but still everyone stared. Then I realized I
had the most expensive car, three hundred thousand dollars, and I was only
fourteen. Or thats what age I was pretending to be. Alice pulled in to a
parking space, and I pulled next to her, my mom in her Ferrari next to me,
and Rose's M3 on the far side.

"Ready?" I asked Jake, grabbing my bag. He smiled, got out of the car and I
did too.

"Conspicuos. It breaks all the rules we've set for ourselves." Jasper said
sarcastically, we all laughed.

"It does, it does. But here its not that bad." My father agreed.

"Well, to hell we go. Cmon'." Emmett said, and I laughed. We all walked in a
group up to the school, and I felt like everyone was stareing at just me.

"They are." My father said, and I turned to look at him, hoping he wasn't
answering me.

"I am." he said, grinning.

"You have got to be bluffing.." I moaned.

"Nope, every girl and guy is stareing solely at you." Alice agreed with my
father.

"Well, like Emmett said, to hell we go." I said laughing.

We walked up to the sidewalk that surrouneded the building when a tall

woman wearing a skirted-suit approached us.

"You must be Dr. Cullen's children, Hello I am Dr. Waters, the principle." The
woman said, reaching out to shake me hand and nobody else.

"Yes, that would be us." I shook her hand, "Its a pleasure to meet you. My
name is Renesmee Cullen, and this is my family." I said to her, she smiled.

"You're in what grade...?" She asked, stunned by my immaculate grammar.

"Ninth." I answered, she shook her head.

"Thats impossible. You're far too mature." She said laughing

I smiled at her.

"Well, you have six minutes before the first bell rings. Do you need any
assistance finding your class rooms." She asked me, but my father, or
brother, spoke.

"No thank you, we've got it." He said politely, smiling.

The woman was dazzled as she turned to walk away.

"Alright, well Nessie had Algebra 1, Jake has Algebra 2, Alice, Bella and I have
Calculus and Emmett, Rose and Jasper have their history class." My father
said. We all nodded. "Lets get going." My mother said.

"Byee." I told them all as I turned to walk to my first class.

Everyone stared at me as I walked through the thinning hallways, to

my Algebra 1 class taught by a woman named Mrs. Wallace. I entered her
class room with four minutes to spare. "Hello, my name is Renesmee Cullen.
Im a new student." I said to the teacher, she smiled at me "Hi, I am Mrs.
Wallace. You can have a seat where ever you'd like." She said to me, and I
smiled. She seemed nice enough. Not many students were in the class yet, so
I went into the middle of the room and sat at a desk there. Moments later a
tall girl sat down next to me, turned and looked at me. "Hi, my name is
Rachel. You must be one of the new students we've been expecting." the girl,
Rachel, said to me, smiling. I smiled back at her. "Hello Rachel, my name is
Renesmee. I am one of the new students, one of eight." I said to her, and her
eyes widend. "Eight?" She questioned me. "Are you all related?" She asked
me, and I shook my head. "I have my brother, and then we have three
adopted sisters and two adopteded brothers. And a close family friend." I told
her, and she smiled. "Thats so sweet." She whispered, Mrs. Wallace was in an
attempt to call the class to order. Once she finally did, she announced
something I wished she didn't.

"Class," she began, "We have a new student today. Would you mind
coming to introduce yourself?" She said the last part looking at me, and I
smiled. "Sure." I said, and rose in one fluid movement and walked to the front
of the class room. Once I got to the front, I turned to face my new class, and I
brushed my bronze hair back. "Hello, my name is Renesmee Cullen." I said to
them and the teacher had me stand there while she asked me questions..
She asked me how many sinblings I had.. "I have three brothers and four
sisters. They're sophmores and juniors." I said to the woman, and she smiled.
After playing twenty questions, she let me sit down. That wasted about half
the class, and she had another one as I sat down.

"Do you have any nicknames you would like?" She said, stareing at me.

Uh, did I really want everyone to call me 'Nessie'? "No, nothing imparticular."
I told her, realizing no, no I didn't want everyone calling me Nessie.

After that the woman went through her lesson, and everyone procedded to
stare at the new kid.
I was glad when my second class finally came around. I had gym with my dad
and uncle Emmett. I went to the female locker room, and I was told I didn't
need to change into gym cloths today, and that I can just watch. Other kids
chose to sit out aswell, seeing that I would. They hoped they could talk to me.

I wondered when my 'brothers' were because they didn't come into the gym
with the other boys. In fact, the coach said she hadn't seen them. They
arrived ten minutes into class, as all the boys sitting out began walking to
me. I stood up and walked to where they were talking to the coach.

"Why're you late, boys?" She asked.

"Sorry, we were with the guidance counclser." My father said, handing the
woman a note. She nodded to them, and they looked at me.

"How's your day been so far, sis?" Emmett asked, laughing. I rolled my eyes.

"My Algebra teacher asked me twenty questions. It was annoying." I told

them as we walked over to sit on the bleachers.

"Ah, mine did as well." My father said, and I smiled.

I put one palm on Emmett's cheek and one on my fathers, showing them my
little jepordy game.

They laughed when I told the teacher how old I was, shock crossed the
womans face when I had said fifteen, almost sixteen.

We sat there quitely for a moment, when my father spoke.

"All the boys are debateing weather or not to come over here and talk to you.
They think I'm scary and Emmett's weird." He said, and I laughed.

"Want to walk away and hear what they have to say?" Emmett said, nudgeing
my father's shoulder. He laughed, "Would you like to talk to some moronic
teenage boys, Ness?" he asked me grinning. "Sure, why not." I told them.
They laughed, and walked to the other side of the bleachers. I looked down
at my shoes, twirling a strand of my hair around my finger. I looked so
innocent.

"Excuse me?" A male voice said, quietly. I lifted my head slowly to see a tall
boy with blond hair standing in front of me. "Hi, my name is Alex. You must
be the new girl. Or one of them, anyway." The boy Alex said, and I smiled. "Hi
Alex, Im Renesmee. One of four new girls." I replied to him as he sat down on
the bleachers. "Its nice to meet you, Renesmee." He said, grinning at me.

"So, how are you liking it here?" he asked me.

I sighed, "Its pretty good. My teacher had a mini round of jepordy for me this
morning, though. That was a little annoying." I said, and he laughed.

"What class?" he said, amused.

"Mrs. Wallace. Algebra." I told him, wondering why this mattered.

He looked shocked. "You're a freshman?" he said, and I smiled.

"Yes." I told him, and he sighed quietly.

"You don't look like any other freshman here. I thought you were a junior or a
senior." He admitted.

My father and Emmett were walking back over now, and I smiled at the boy,
Alex.

Once they reached us, they sat down. Mike looked nervous, and my 'brothers'
were smileing.

"Alex, these are my brother's Edward and Emmett." I said to him, and Alex
gave them a slight smile.

"Its a pleasure to meet you, Alex." Edward said.

Woah, I just called my father Edward.

Oh, I thought it. Right, thats okay.

"Its nice to meet you too." Alex said, never looking at Emmett.

"So, Alex. What grade are you in?" Edward, my father, asked him.

He hesitated. "Tenth." Alex finally admitted.

"As am I, and Emmett's in eleventh." Edward said to the boy "I have Biology
next, Emmett? What have you got? Calculus?"

"AP Calculus, yeah." Emmett corected him.

"Oh, I have Biology next, too." Alex said.

The coach blew the whistle, and Alex got up. "See you around." He said to us,
mainly me, and then walked off.

"The boy has a kind mind." My father said.

I rolled my eyes, "Don't kill him."

Emmett laughed, and I huged them both and went to retrieve my bag.
When I got back in to the locker room there was a group of girls
standing in a tight circle near my locker. "There she is.." one of the girls
whispered to the others, looking at me. I rolled my eyes, drama. 'I hope
Edward and Emmett wait for me.. I don't feel like dealing with drama. Wow,
now im calling my father Edward in my head. Aw, hell...' I thought to myself,
un-doing the combonation. "Hello." One of the girls from the group said to
me, I looked up. "Hi." I said, sweetly and kind, grabbing my bag out of my
locker. "We were just wondering, which car you drove and if its yours..?" I
rolled my eyes, so that they couldn't see. "I drove the Lambo, and yes, it is
mine." I realized they all gasped, but I wasn't paying attention. "Is your dad..
like.. rich?" Another girl asked. And I smiled, "He's a doctor." I told them,
turning towards the door.

I was glad to see Edward, damn it! I need to stop calling him Edward.
Anywho, they were waiting for me. "Annoyed with yourself for calling me
Edward?" my father said sarcastically, "But I don't mind." he said. I rolled my
eyes. He put his arm over my shoulder, like any father or big brother would
do, and walked me to class. Emmett walked on the other side of me, laughing
at some joke I missed the whole time we were walking. They both hugged me
before I went into science, and left. Everyone watched me, again, as I went to
introduce myself to my teacher.

"Mrs. Hannover, Hello. My name is Renesmee Cullen, I am a new student." I

said to the teacher, all the other's were sitting already. She smiled, "Hello
Renesmee, welcome to Honnors Intergrated Science." She said to me, and
then turned to the class. "Class, we have a new student. This is Renesmee
Cullen, she is now here from...?" The woman said. I smiled, "Home-schooled."
she smiled back, and directed me to an open seat towards the back of the
class. I reconized a few boys from my gym class, but I didn't really care to
talk to any of them. Though they stared at me though the whole lecture on
cellular anatomy.

When Mrs, Hannover finished the lecture, she gave us 10 minutes to

re-organize our notes or to read. I was going to re-do my notes, just to be
sure I knew what I was doing when the boy sitting in the seat behind me
tapped my shoulder. Anything to touch me.. It annoyed me. "Yes?" I said,
turnning around. I figured he would bother me with some inate chatter that I
could have lived without. "I was just wondering if you got what she said at the
end of the lecture? About reproductive parts of the cell.. Im being rude. Sorry,
im just really confused. My name is Joseph." The boy said, and I was amazed.
He looked me in the eye the whole time, theres a first. Usualy boys looked..
well never mind. "Uhh, yeah. I have it in my notes, but I don't remember off
the top of my head." That was a lie, I just wasn't in the mood to chat. "And its
a pleasure to meet you, Joseph." I said to him, smiling. I turned, picked up my
notes and showed it to him. He nodded thoughtfuly, and then looked up at
me. "Thanks, your notes are almost word-for-word. How do you write so
fast?" He asked me, handing me my paper. I scanned over it, he was right. I
didn't realize I was doing that. "Woah, I didn't even realize it. I've never taken
notes on a spoken lecture before." I confessed to him.

"Miss Cullen, Mister Landry, can I help you?" Mrs. Hannover said.

"I apologize, I was just clarifying something." I told Mrs. Hannover, and she
nodded and returned to the papers upon her desk.

"You didn't tell her I was bothering you. Theres a first." Joseph said, and I
looked confused.

"You wern't bothering me, and I was clarifying something." I said smiling, he
just shook his head and smiled back. I turned to finish re-doing my notes
before the class ended. Next I had some dance class. I didn't know what the
hell that was about.. But I was with my mother, or sister, and my two aunts,
or sisters. I smiled to myself. At the end of the class I was putting my
notebook in my bag, and I had out my first copy of notes. "Hey Joseph, you
can have this if you'd like. I was just going to throw it away." I told him, half-
way handing the paper to him. He smiled, "You sure?" He clarified.
"Absolutely." I said, placing the paper in his hand. "See you around." I told
him, exiting the class room.

When I walked out of Science my mother and aunt Alice were waiting
for me. I smiled when I saw them. "Hello Renesmee." Alice said, sounding like
a sister rather than an aunt. "Hi Alice, Hey Bella." I said, giggling. I haven't
called my mother Bella before. "Hey Ness." My mother said, grinning at me.
"Wheres Rose?" I asked as we began walking towards our dance class. "She
had gym, so she's probably on her way now, too." Alice said, and I rolled my
eyes. "Probably? What kind of physicic are you!" I whispered, too low for
mortal ears. We all laughed, "Okay shes like, two halls behind us walking with
Emmett." Alice confirmed, and the three of us laughed like sisters, rather
than an aunt, a mom and a daughter, again.

When we got to our dance class, I reconized a girl from my Algebra class,
standing alone against the wall. I felt bad. "Do you mind if I invite a girl
named Rachel over here? She looks pretty lonely, but shes really nice." I
asked them, inclineing my head in the girls direction. "Absolutely." my
'sisters' said at the same time. I smiled at them, and walked over to Rachel.
"Hey, Rachel." I said, and the look on her face was enough that I wanted to
hug the girl. She looked so happy to see me. "Hey, Renesmee! Do you have
this class, too?" She said and I nodded. "Me and my sisters. They wanted to
meet you, if you wanted to meet them." I told her, grinning all the while.
"Sure." she said, but her voice was un-sure. "They won't bite, will they?" she
asked, sarcastically. My head snapped to where they were standing and Alice
and Bella were stareing at me, there face's identical shades of horror. I
turned back to Rachel so fast she didn't realize I had looked away. "What
would make you say that?" I said sarcastic as she was, cooly. "I don't know. I
was watching a vampire movie last night. I think I might be going insane."
She said, we both laughed. "Well, come meet them." I told her, and we
walked to where they were still standing, waiting for Rosalie.

We reached them just as I caught Rose's scent outside the door.

Before we stopped walking, "Hi, Im Alice." and she waved, with a grin.

"Hi, Alice. Im Rachel." She said, grinning back.

"Hello, Rachel. My name is Bella." my mother said, sister, opps.

"Hi, Bella. Its so nice to meet you." She replied.

I think Alice saw a vision of Rachel and Alice, or Bella or Rose touching,
because suddenly she wrapped her arms around herself. "Its soo cold." She
said, winking at my mother. "I know." she replied, letting her lip slightly
quiver, as if she were really cold. I got what they were saying, "Im not cold.
Would you like to wear my jacket?" I asked them, and they both said they're
okay. Rose then walked in. "Hey Ness, Bella, Alice. Who's your friend?" She
said the last part grinning at me. "Rose, this is Rachel. Rachel, this is my
oldest sister, Rosalie." I told her. She smiled, "Its so nice to meet you Rachel."
Mrs. Harris began to call the class to order, and we all payed attention to our
instructor.

Alice, Rose, Bella and I didn't have anything to dress out and dance in
so, like gym, we observed. Or more like gossiped. I felt like a real teenager, it
was great.

"So these boys here aren't into me at all. I think we should move." Rose told
us sarcasticlly. "Really? They won't leave me alone." I said, laughing. "All the
more reason to leave. Jacob doesn't need a warrant out for 1st degree
murder." Rose replied, and we all laughed again. "I think its nice here, I don't
want to leave." Alice said, and my mother agreed "I know. Its so nice here,
it's almost never sunny. So far this year, and its September, there has been
six days of sunshine." We all smiled, "Yes. I don't want to leave." I agreed
with my 'sisters.' We were in the middle of talking, when a girl fell and hit her
head. "Get out of here, now." I told the three of them, following right behind
them. I didn't see or smell blood, but I sensed in was coming. I knew the
perfect excuse- we all got sick at the sight and smell of blood. "Woah, I didn't
smell the blood." My mother said, and Rose and Alice nodded with her. "She
wasn't bleeding, yet. I felt it coming, though." Sure enough, I was right.
Rachel was sent out to find us, "Mrs. Harris wants to know why you all ran
out, theres just a little blood." She said shrugging it off. "We all actually faint
at the sight and smell of blood.." I said, seeming queezy. "Oh, she figured. Do
you want to go back in?" She asked us, Alice sighed, "Is there any blood still
inside?" she asked, and I nodded in agreement, wondering. "Yeah.. but its
only a little." She said. "Well, could you tell her we'll wait out here." I told
Rachel, smiling weakly. "You all look really sick.." She said turning back
towards the class, "But sure, Ill tell her." I sighed in relief.

"Good call, Ness." Alice said to me.

I nodded, not knowing what to say. 'Thanks, I didn't really feel like someone
getting attacked by my family today.' Nope, not that.

Five minutes later Rachel came back out, "Mindy's not in there anymore, and
they bleached the floor. You can come back now." She told us, and walked
right back into the room. "Ill go first, and come back to get you if its okay." I
told them. They all nodded and let me go.

I walked inside and there wasn't the littlest spot of blood on the floor, or any
scent of it left in the air. "Where are your sisters, Renesmee?" Mrs. Harris
asked me, "They're all much fainter then me. I told them I would make sure
there isn't any blood left." I told her smiling. "Oh, yes, of course." She said, I
walked back outside to get them.

We spent the last half hour in dance class talking. "Has anyone seen Jake
today?" I asked them, and Rose nodded. "He was in my gym class. Whining
about not knowing what classes you had so he couldn't meet you to walk you
to class. He sat and pouted all throughout gym. I felt like a moron, I was
sitting there with him. Everyone thought we were 'together' or thats what it
felt like." She told me, and I frowned. He wanted to see me as bad as I did
him. "Youve all seem your husbands, and I havent once seen my boyfriend." I
told them, pouting. "You'll see him in ten seconds. He'll be waiting for you
outside of this class." Rose told me, and I smiled."You are dismissed. Please
bring your dance clothing for tomorrow, ladies." Mrs, Harris said. I jumped up,
grabbed my bag, but walked out of the class with the rest of the Cullen girls.

As promised, the love of my life was waiting for my outside the door. I
ran into his arms and burried my face in the crook of his neck. "Did you miss
me?" He asked, laughing slightly. I lifted my head up and kissed his lips. "So
much." I whispered, and he smiled and kissed me again, "Me too. I was going
insane. Ask blondie." He said, Rose hissed at him, then laughed. "Its true."
she agreed. "Okay, lets go to lunch. I wonder where Emmett, Jasper and
Edward are..." Rose said. "They were talking to the auto mechanics teacher, I
bolted when he said we could leave, though." Jake said. I intertwined my
fingers with him, and leaned into him as we walked. "You really missed me..
didn't you?" Jake whispered in my ear.I looked up, and saw that he was
looking down at me, his lips inches away from my face. My heart skipped a
beat, "More then you can ever tell." I told him, and then I kissed him as we
were walking.

On our way to the lunch room I eventually let go out Jake and just
walked beside him. He didn't seem to mind, but I kind of felt bad. I was
supprised that my uncles and father didnt join us sooner then when we were
in the lunch room buying our food, or mine and Jake's and their props. We
were going with the excuse that they had an aversion to school-food and
didn't care enough to bring lunch. "There you all are." My father said when
we were in the lunch line. "Wheres Em and Jazz?" Alice asked. He rolled his
eyes, "There sitting at a table. They didn't feel like getting stared at anymore.
It bothers them that mortals can't take there eyes off of them." He said,
shrugging. "Mind if we go to the table?" Rose asked me, "Sure. Go ahead Jake
I'll catch up." I told them, he just shrugged. "Ill wait with Nessie, I want to
talk to her." My father said to them, and they all walked off. "So, how do you
like school so far?" He asked me grinning, I smiled back, "Well, Edward, its
not too bad." I said sarcastically, "Don't get in the habit of that, please. Its
only for the public." He told me, and we both laughed. Once I got my food we
walked across the cafe' together. Every head was turned watching us,
"Someone thinks I have a nice butt." My father said, laughing. I laughed too.
"Good to know, good to know." I told him. "All the thoughts in my head are
something like 'Hot damn, I wonder it shes single. She is fine.'" My father
said, and I couldn't help the hysterical giggle that burst through my lips, my
father then put his arm around my shoulder. "I think this will sound weird, but
I wouldn't mind if you decided to kiss Jacob more then normal." He told me,
and we both laughed.

When we got to the table my father pulled my chair out for me, and I sat
down. "Thanks, bro." I said to him, trying to be serious but I couldn't keep a
straight face. Everyone laughed. "Word up, sis." He said sarcasticly, rolling
his eyes while sitting down beside my mother.

As the conversation's carried along at our table, I suddenly saw my fathers

lips crush into a flat line, and, well.. he looked.. pissed basically. "Edward?" I
asked, almost saying dad. "Are you okay?" He shook his head. "These human
males are utterly repulsive! I have been trying to ignore them and ignore
them, but I swear this'll be the death of me." He said in a angered voice. I
guess a father should be a little concerend. I wondered if he was serious
about kissing Jake... "Yes, I was." He answered my thoughts. 'Are you sure?' I
thought, "I would beg you to." He told me, and I rolled my eyes. I pressed my
palm to Jake's cheek. 'My father thinks we should do serious PDA to get these
repulsive moronic boys to stop talking.' I thought, and he looked at me. I
nodded to him, and my father did too. "What three way conversation are we
missing here?" Alice asked, I rolled my eyes, and pressed my lips to Jacobs.
We didn't have a light kiss, this was something to do behind closed doors, like
last night in my bedroom... "What the hell!" My father sounded furious, but
his tone was hush. I blushed scarlet red, and pulled my face away from Jakes.
"What... I couldn't help myself." I said to him, touching the blush on my
cheeks. Everyone was eyeing me, there lips almost laughing. I smiled at my
father, and he rolled his eyes, amused, in return. "Ah, I have English next." I
announced, smiling. "So does everyone else." Jasper told me, speeking for
the first time. "Let me see, I have it by myself. Jake has it by himself. Alice,
Edward and Bella have it together and then Emmett Rosalie and Jasper have
it. Am I right?" I asked, and then sighed. "Im going to the office." I
announced, standing up. "Why?" Everyone asked, I sighed. "Im not sitting
through another class without someone to sit with me. Ill switch to English
two." I went to Jasper, and hugged him around the neck from behind, and
went to everyone else to do the same. "Ill go with you." Jake told me,
standing. He hugged Alice and my bother, patted Rose on the head and did
some weird handshake with the boys. I rolled my eyes, "Lets go." I said,
intertwineing my fingers in his, pressing my body as close to his as I could,
but still able to walk well. I pressed my lips to his as we walked through the
cafe' but still walking straight. I heard a few guys curse about my being
taken, Jake and I both laughed.

Once we got into the office we saw a short woman with pale blond hair,
"Hello, may I help you?" She asked us as we entered. "Hi, I was wondering if I
could get a schudel change?" I asked the woman, and she nodded. "Okay,
what were you hoping to switch?" She asked as she sat down at one of the
office-desked. I leaned my head on to Jake, "I was wondering if insted of
having Honnors English one, I could go to English two and take the first
course online." I told her, and the woman nodded. "That's something I can do.
But you won't be the only freshman in that class, and its all boys, other than
one girl." She told me, "That won't be a problem. Could I switch today if at all
possible?" I said sweetly, and she nodded. "Yes, but you'll have to let Mr.
Adell know that you have been switched into his class today and you won't be
on his roster." I smiled, "Thanks so much." And turned to walk out with Jake.
We still had another half-hour for our lunch period so I figured we would go
back to my family and sit with them.

As we stepped into the cafe' again, I reached up to Jake and kissed him, and I
felt all eyes on me. I laughed internally at the newest obsession of the male
student body. Without warning, Jake pulled me up into his arms and cradled
me into his chest, holding me close. "Much better." He said, grinning at me. I
kissed him and smiled, "Isn't it?" I said with a smug smile, and turned to
where my family was sitting, they all rolled there eyes at us and laughed.
Jake and I laughed aswell. All the other eyes looked annoyed, except one.
Rachel Santos, the girl I had in my Algebra and Dance class. I smiled at her,
and she smiled back at me. We had now reached the table, "I am offically a
genuis. Im in a sophmore English class, and this is my first day of school
ever." I announced to my family as Jake sat me in my chair. I smiled at him.
He smiled back, and then kissed me.

My next class went easily enough. I sat next to Jake, and Rachel. She
was the only other freshman in the class, and one of the two other girls.
There was another girl, her name was Magen, who had switched to that class
sometime after me, she sat on the other side of Rachel. The class was really
easy, and I could probably go to English Honnors three, if they'd let me. But I
wouldnt go to that class unless Jake could come with me. "She is too hot for
that guy she's with, and don't they like, live together?" I heard one boy ask
another, "I know right. I bet they bang every night." The other boy said. My
expression got violent, and I turned back to where the boys were sitting,
glareing at them. "Shit!" one boy whispered, "I think she heard us!" he said.
"Ya think!" I whispered at the boys, and they're faces flushed a lucious color
pink. I was imagining the taste behind that... "Renesmee Cullen?" I heard the
teacher call, I was snapped out of my trance. "You're needed in the office." I
rose, kissed Jake on the cheek, and walked as fast as I could without it being
noticeable.

Those vulgar morons live's were safe. For now, at least.

When I rounded the cornner, My father caught me. "Im supposed to go to the
office.." I mumbled, trying to push my way around him. "Nope. I called. I
thought you might need to get out of there, take a breather." He said. "Sorry,
I was trying not to imagen it. I was trying hard." I confessed, he wraped his
arms around me, and I burried my face in his chest. "I know, I know
sweetheart. Its okay now, daddy's here." He soothed me, stroaking my hair. "I
love you." I mummbled, "I love you too sweetie." He replied.

He loosed his grip, "I have to get back to class now, baby. If you need me you
know how to get me." He said, kissed me on the top of my head and walked
off to class. I also went back to mine.
The rest of English was thuroughly boreing. We were writing essays on fables,
and I wrote three in ten minutes. The teacher was stunned. I rolled my eyes,
not bothering to be flattered. I was concentrating too hard on trying not to kill
the morons two desks behind me. Jake notices, he rubbed my arm
apologeticly.

When we were dismissed from English, I walked out of that classroom to find
my whole family waiting. I glared at my father, and he frowned, as if to
apologize. "Renesm-" my mother began. "I don't want to hear it. I don't want
to talk to you. Any of you." I told them, acid seeping into my voice. I pushed
myself close to Jake, and he put his arm around my waist, holding me close.
We walked to creative writing, silent.

We were all a little late, and when the teacher, Mrs. Ramos, saw me, she
spoke to the class. "Class, it seems we have a new student. Or two. Or three.
Or four, Or five. Or six, or seven. Eight?" She asked. We all rolled our eyes
and took the empty seats in the back. "Okay well, Mr. Cullen, Mr. Cullen, Mr.
Cullen, Mr. Cullen. Can I ask your first name?" Mrs. Ramos asked. They each
spoke one at a time.

"Edward."

"Emmett."

"Jasper."

"Jacob."

The teacher looked shocked, I rolled my eyes. "Okay, and Miss Cullen, Miss
Cullen Miss Cullen and Miss Cullen?" She asked, and grinned as if she enjoyed
annoying us. We, too, Spoke one at a time.

"Alice."

"Issabella."

"Rosalie."

"Renesmee."

Did my mother just use her full first name as a choice, or a product of her
annoyance. I didn't know. "Renesmee.. Thats an intersting name. May I ask
you how you were named that?" Mrs. Ramos urged.

I sighed. "My mothers mother's name was Rene, and my fathers mother's
name was Esme. Re-nes-may." I said to her. She smiled, pleases that she
managed to get a somewhat civil response out of me. "Okay class, today
were going to begin writing a essay of choice. You can pick your topic, but it
must be atleast three pages long, back and front." She said, I pulled a pen
and my notebook out of my bag. I knew exactly what I was going to write
about. How the generation's have turned boys from gentlemen to vulgar sex-
addicted morons. I heard my father muffle a laughter into a cough. "Shut
up.." I told him, too low for anyone but my vampire family to hear. He
laughed again. "Bite me." I said, I wasn't laughing. This time, rather then
stares from my family, they all gave me murderous glares. I didn't really care.
They could kill me themselves. I was in a bad mood, thanks to my father.

I completed my essay in fifteen minutes, and it was immaculate. Not a

spelling error on the page, everything was neat, everything made sense. I
walked up to Mrs. Ramos's desk, and handed her my paper. "Do you plan on
checking it over, Miss Cullen?" She asked me, an eyebrow raised. "I did, three
times." I told her over my shoulder, walking back to my seat. I sat there for a
few minutes, thinking about my essay. I guessed my father had just read my
essay through the teacher's mind, "That was a very good eassy, Renesmee."
he told me. I ignored him. "Renesmee," her voice sounded stressed, "Could
you please come up here?" Mrs. Ramos said. I heard one of the students
whisper, 'Oh hell, you turned in a bad paper really quickly, feeling all cocky.' I
glanced at the girl who said this, and rolled my eyes. I had reached Mrs.
Ramos's desk by now, "Yes?" I asked poliet enough. She looked up at me,
"This is probably.. the best essay I have read in my whole ten-year carrer as a
Creative Writing Enligsh teacher." she told me, and I took a quick glance at
the girl who said I 'turned in a bad paper' and smiled, smugly, at her. She
looked down, embaressed.

I finished my class without speaking to any member of my family. Without

speaking to anyone but the moronic girl who thinks shes better than
everyone else, and the teacher, of course.

I walked witch Jakes arm wrapped tight around my waste again, to the
Lambo. When we got there it looked like someone dumped a folder of paper
on my winsheld. I went and picked up one of about fourty pieces of paper. It
was a name and phone number. I laughed to myself, grabbing all the pages
off my winsheid and crumpleing them into a ball, walking to the nearst trash
can, and tossing it in there. Jake got in the car without a word, and by the
time I returned to where I had parked, the rest of my family was gone. I was
thankful. I climbed in the car, "I don't want to go back to the main house. Lets
go to the little house?" I asked him, meaning 'party house' by the little house.
He nodded, and we drove off to the house.

When we drove into the driveway everyone was waiting, Carlisle and Esme,
too. I walked right by them, not looking at them once, with Jake. We went
straight up to the second floor of the little house, and sprawled out on the
large bed. I smiled slightly at Jacob right before I kissed him. It wasn't a little
kiss, it was intense. It was full of emotion. Passion. Almost anger, but it was
like no kiss before. My body willed itself to lay atop of hm, wrapping my arms
around his neck. This wasn't a position I had been in before. It was... nice. It
was... sexual.
