following six key elements, which will occur every day, in every classroom. These are all based upon what the
research indicates about reading and writing.
1. Every child reads something he or she chooses.
2. Every child reads accurately.
3. Every child reads something he or she understands.
4. Every child writes something personally meaningful.
5. Every child talks with peers about reading and writing.
6. Every child listens to a fluent adult read aloud.
All our teachers collaborating on producing a series of lessons, at each grade level, targeting the four key concepts
(Safety, Touch, Advocacy & Responsibility) in our Healthy Relationships curriculum.

Please be reminded that parents are obliged to officially inform the School in
writing through a WITHDRAWAL NOTIFICATION FORM if their child
will not be returning for the 2nd Semester (January 2016 term). Families are
encouraged to submit the Withdrawal Notification Form, stating the student's
final date of attendance, immediately. Failure to submit the form may lead to
a delay in the forwarding of your child's transcript to his/her new school.
The Withdrawal Notification Form can be obtained from the Admissions
Office, by clicking the link above, or directly from the ISM website under
Admission > Re-Enrollment & Withdrawal > Withdrawals
Please feel free to contact the Admissions office at 840.8601 for questions or
