Cost-Effective, Compact and Dependable:

SFC Combo series static GPUs combine the SFC8000 series 400Hz GPUs and the SFC9000 series
28VDC GPUs into a single amazingly compact and cost-effective package. Supplied either as a stationary
unit or as a fully mobile trailer, SFC Combos provide completely flexible, all-weather, ground power for
virtually any fixed wing or rotary aircraft. The two converters are fully independent of each other and may be
used either separately or concurrently. Each may be
controlled and monitored by its own display panel.
SFC 8000, Dependable 400Hz........
A robust input rectifier drives a hi-tech field-proven
IGBT based inverter to provide a high quality and
utterly dependable 400Hz aircraft supply. Power outputs
from 20 to 90KVA are available.

Independent displays for each converter

SFC 9000 rectifiers provide highly regulated, high current 28VDC, with full engine start capability. 600 amps
is available continuously with a 2000 amps peak for engine start. The output voltage may be adjusted from
26VDC to 31VDC via a front panel knob.
Simple Display:
The display panel is clear and simple, avoiding fiddley or difficult to read controls. Analogue meters, rather
than digital, are easier to read under all light conditions and provide instant confirmation of correct operation.
Only LED indicators that the Operator needs are fitted (Service Technicians have additional indicators
inside), thus minimising confusion and staff training.
Aircraft Interlocks:
All models are fitted with aircraft interlocks for either military or civil aircraft on both the AC and DC outputs.
A key-lockable override switch is fitted.
Cable Storage:
A optional cable tray is fitted on top of the cabinet, with another at the rear of trailer mounted models.
Highest Power Density:
SFC Combo converters have the highest power density available, being less than a metre in length and only
670mm wide, indeed narrower enough to fit through a standard door way.
Military Variants:
Models with MIL-STD 704E and MIL-STD 461C approvals are available.
