MOE Tuition Grant Scheme (TGS)

Singapore Citizens are required to download and complete the Declaration for Tuition Grant Eligibility Form
from the Student Portal. The duly signed completed form has to be submitted to SIT. In addition, a softcopy of
the form has to be uploaded to the Student Portal by 30 June 2014.
Singapore Permanent Residents who wish to receive the TG subsidy for your course of study in SIT will have to
apply for the tuition grant subsidy from MOEs TGS website (https://tgonline.moe.gov.sg/tgis/normal/index.action)
from 15 to 22 July 2014. An Application Guide is available at
https://tgonline.moe.gov.sg/docs/Activation-ApplicationGuide.pdf. The TG Agreement signing ceremony will be held
on 29 July 2014. Further details will be provided via email nearer to the date of the signing ceremony.

Payment of Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees

Payment of Tuition Fees and Miscellaneous Fees can only be made through interbank GIRO .
Please note that ALL students must apply for interbank GIRO as Miscellaneous Fees will be deducted from the
GIRO account.
Students will receive Fee Advices via their SIT email account. Details of the SIT email account will be made
known to students at a later date.

Financial Assistance

Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents may apply for financial assistance by completing the
relevant application forms in the Student Portal. International students may apply for selected private bursaries
where applicable.

Pre-Enrolment Medical Examination

SIT has appointed three healthcare providers for your pre -enrolment medical examination. Please refer to
https://st.singaporetech.edu.sg/Forms/SIT_Healthcare_PreEnrolment.pdf for details.
Students from the health sciences programmes (UOM & TCD) may complete their medical check-up with their
sponsoring health institution.
International students may complete their medical check-up in their home country with a qualified medical
practitioner. The Singapores Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) medical report
(http://www.ica.gov.sg/data/resources/docs/Visitor%20Services/MedicalReport.pdf) must also be completed and
submitted to ICA during the collection of the Student Pass . The medical, laboratory test and X-ray reports MUST
be written in English.

SIT Refund and Withdrawal Policy

Students who withdraw before their matriculation date will receive a full refund of their tuition fees less a S $107.00
(inclusive of GST) administrative fee;
Students who choose to withdraw between their matriculation date and the start of their programme will receive a
refund of 50% tuition fees less a S$107.00 (inclusive of GST) administrative fee;
NO refund will be given for withdrawals after commencement of the programme or in subsequent
semesters/trimesters.

Mock Plan Window


The Mock Plan Window allows students to plan and create their
own time-table for the modules to be taken for the coming
trimester. All students are to create and save their mock plan
through the Module Registration System (MRS) by login to the
Student Portal.

degrees register for their modules through MRS according to the
stipulated period for each programme in Jul/Aug 2014 (9am to
5pm).
