PRAYERS FOR THE DECEASED: We pray for our loved ones who have died recently.
PRAYERS FOR THE SICK AND SHUT-IN: “Let us raise up in prayer those who seek
God’s healing love, those at the hospital, hospice and at home. May your struggle be
consoled by Christ’s love“.

Tuesday, March 30th – The MASS OF CHRISM: Takes place at 7:00 p.m. at
St. Columbkille’s Cathedral in Pembroke. This celebration is a sign of the unity
and communion of the priests with their Bishop. During this Mass, the oils used
in the celebration of the Sacraments are blessed by Bishop Mulhall.

THE WAY OF THE CROSS: An ancient and powerful tradition of our Church is to gather,
† particularly during Lent to pray – the Way of the Cross. Our C.W.L. members facilitate this
prayer time each Monday of Lent at 12:10 p.m. Please join us. If you have never had the opportunity
we welcome you and will provide the booklets for your reflection on each of the fifteen stations.

It’s that time of year again! Next week sees the launch of the 2010 St. Francis Xavier Parish Lottery.
The 2009 Lottery was a great success, and netted $8,822.56 for the Parish. We thank everyone who
helped in any way, those who sold tickets, those who bought tickets, and those who are always ready
and willing to respond to our requests for assistance. Your past participation and support is greatly
appreciated.

NATIONAL CATHOLIC MISSION 2010 – “A GOD FOR ALL SEASONS”

FEAST OF ST. PATRICK, BISHOP OF IRELAND: Again this year there will be a celebration of
the great saint of Ireland held at St. James Parish, Eganville on March 17th. The choir has prepared
a prelude of appropriate music that will begin at 6:15 p.m. Mass begins at 7:00 p.m. Entertainment
and light refreshments follow in the parish hall. There will be a free-will offering taken up for our Sister
Diocese of Lima Peru, and to aid the new Senior’s Centre in Eganville. Eirinn go Brach!
CALABOGIE RENFREW PRO-LIFE ASSOC.: will have a meeting on Tuesday, March 23rd at
7 p.m. in the Knights of Columbus Hall, Renfrew. All are welcome to attend.
