Kimberly Morris

Joining the Florida Bar and becoming a member of Mander Law Group in 1999, Kimberly Morris focuses
her practice on personal injury and wrongful death claims involving medical malpractice, nursing home
negligence and abuse, product liability, vehicle accidents, pedestrian and bicycle accidents, premises
liability, falls, and dog bites. Ms. Morris is also committed to resolving automobile insurance coverage and
insurance disputes.
Khara Alvero
Tampa Area
With experience as a paralegal in a prominent Gainesville firm while attending the Levin College of Law at
the University of Florida, Khara Alvero has also gained valuable experience interning with the Department of
Justice. Upon graduating, she joined the State Attorneys Office in the Seventh Judicial Circuit court as an
Assistant State Attorney (primarily working in Daytona Beach, Florida), assigned to misdemeanor and
felony cases. Ms. Alvero later transferred to the Fifth Judicial Circuit as an Assistant State Attorney (working
primarily in Hernando County). Joining Mander Law Group in 2005, her practice includes both criminal and
family law.
Todd Thurow

As a deputy with the Sarasota County Sheriffs Office and then as a police officer at the Sarasota Police
department, Todd Thurow attended numerous advanced training seminars, including courses in Interviews
and Interrogations, DUI Field Sobriety Testing, Breath Test/Intoxilyzer Operator Permit, Radar Certification
Field Training Officer and Instructor, Drug and Narcotic Investigations, and Sex Crimes Investigations.
(During his tenure in law enforcement, Mr. Thurow was involved in two high profile cases that resulted in
him being named in two books.) His practice includes criminal defense (such as assault and battery; sexual
battery; child abuse and neglect, driving offenses like DUIs; possession, trafficking, and sale of controlled
substances; theft, robbery, and burglary; and firearms and weapon violations), excessive use of force,
search and seizure, and false arrest.
