design and project coordination for high-rise office/ residential buildings,

As a Principal Engineer, Rahul Patel is responsible for allocated cost and manhours management to perform project tasks with highest level of technical/
presentation quality in line with middle east client and local authorities
requirements.
His vast experience includes concept, prelim and detailed design stages
deliveries including coordination with architecture, other design steams,
contractors, vendors, suppliers, and other sub-consulting firms on regular
basis and in line with project submission deadlines and clients requirements.
He is exposed to project delivery process from feasibility investigation to
detailed design process with an emphasis on collaborative working, open
communication and health and safety.
He is reporting the cost & program status for construction contracts to
associate of ME Infrastructure Head.
He is also having considerable understanding of GEEN Building design and
worked on number of LEED projects including platinum and gold USGBC
certification.

He is also having considerable experience on building facade lighting and
decorative lighting design.
He has designed centralized lighting control system using EIB/KNX system
for number of projects and having working level understanding of sensors
interfacing with lighting, actuator control and digital control device
selection.

LV/MV network design for building :

440V, 11kV and above

Scheme design from service entry till final sub distribution boards and
preparation of Power Single Line Diagram (SLD).
Selection and arrangement of MV/LV switchgears, breaker, transformers,
cable routing, cable trays and distribution panels.
Life safety load and emergency load calculations, selection of Generators
and UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply).
Coordination with architecture and structure team for Electrical rooms,
Electrical closet, shafts, transformer and generator foundations, cable
tranches and tray.
Coordination and understanding of mechanical equipment load
requirement and design of MCC (Motor Control Centre) and MCP (Motor
Control Panels).
Selection of MV Loop distribution(ring arrangement, mesh arrangement,
branch arrangement) in line with local power authorities requirements.
