Description

SikaProof SB TH is a high performance, Cationic Bitumen Bitumen

emulsion elastomer waterproof membrane . This system is based on Bitumen
emulsion elastomer, Bitumen chain extenders and SBR polymers. It
provides a flexible, tough, resilient monolithic membrane with good water
and chemical resistance.
SikaProof SB TH is a spray-applied, one-coat waterproofing system
using several wet-on-wet passes to achieve the required dry film thickness.

Ultra fast set making applicable on the inclined or vertical surface without
sagging and short down time.

Storage
Storage Conditions

Store materials not in use in tightly covered containers in a dry, well

ventilated area at an ambient temperature between 15-30C (60-90F),
away from sunlight, heat, or other hazards.

Application
Instructions

Apply SikaProof SB TH to only clean, dry, sound surfaces free of loose

particles or other foreign materials. A primer may be required, subject to
type and/or condition of the substrate. Consult technical service
personnel for specific primer recommendations and substrate preparation
procedures.
SikaProof SB TH can be sprayed over a broad range of ambient and
substrate temperatures. The limitations are in the ability of the application
equipment to provide adequate material pressure and heat. Contact
technical service personnel for specific recommendations, pricing and
availability of spray and auxiliary equipment.
It is recommended that SikaProof SB TH be sprayed in multidirectional
(north-south/east-west) passes to insure uniform thickness.
Contact Sika technician regarding proper mixing equipment.
Follow the instructions attached to A and B containers.

Cleaning of Tools

Use Acetone, Toluene, MEK and Doeclean 10

Limitations


Minimum material/container temperature for spray application is 5C
(68F)

Read and observe all precautions, instructions, and limitations that are

Material Safety Data Sheets are available on this coating

material. Any individual who may come in contact with these products
should read and understand the MSDS.

Construction

WARNING: Contact with skin or inhalation of vapors may cause an allergic

reaction. Avoid eye contact of the liquid or spray mist. Hypersensitive
persons should wear protective clothes, gloves and use protective cream
on face, hands and exposed areas.
EYE PROTECTION: Safety glasses, goggles, or a face shield are
recommended.
SKIN PROTECTION: Chemical resistant gloves are recommended.
Cover as much of the exposed skin area as possible with appropriate
clothing.
Transportation

Deliver product in the manufacturers original, new, unopened packages

and containers, clearly marked with manufacturers identification, printed
instructions, lot numbers and shelf life expiration date for each component.

The information, and, in particular, the recommendations relating to the application and end-use of Sika products, are given in good faith
