Why Teach?

A good teacher is like a candle- it

consumes itself to light the way for
others.
(Mustafa Kemal Ataturk)

Becoming a teacher to me means helping to shape another person by

teaching and instructing them. Becoming a teacher is a huge responsibility
with many obstacles, and I am willing to take on the challenge the way so
many before me have. I want to know that I made a difference and touched
someones life the way so many of my teachers have touched my life. I will
decide If I want to be a teacher in future after practice. I will do de lessons, I
will speak with students and then I will decide If its my job.
Teachers get incredible joy in seeing the difference they make as
students gain new insights, become more interested in a subject and learn
about themselves. Every day, teachers mold the future through impacting
their students views and understandings. Teachers foster creativity,
develop character, give students lenses with which to view the world and
provide students with the skills they need to reach their potential and lead
productive lives. Many individuals are attracted to teaching by a sense of
service, because they want to make a clear, tangible difference in the lives
of others. As a teacher, you see the fruits of your efforts everyday as you
use your intelligence and creativity to help students become excited about
and learn about the science in their lives. When I was a child I didnt like
,,math,,. But I had a excellent teacher Natalia Ursu who teach me how to be
a good friends with math. She explained , demonstrated, spoke with me,
and used very interesting methods to understood better. And now I want to
say Thank You, because I like very much math.
Many language learners dont understand that having a great language
teacher is as important as going to a language class. So let us have a look
at what who must be a great language teacher.
1. The first thing to look for is a teacher who engages you. When you are
engaged, you want to pay attention to what is going on because your
attention and interest are magnetized to what is going on.

2. The next thing to look for is an environment that you think you could
feel comfortable in. Language classes may well not be comfortable
because learning new things can be challenging and may cause you
some discomfort at times however the exceptional teacher makes you
feel that you belong there so that any discomfort you feel seems to be
less of an issue. Such a teacher may use humor to help you get over
these feelings.
3. Another important characteristic you are looking for is a teacher who
works towards you recognising and implementing your latent powers
as a language learner. We all have them, just that some are well
hidden! The exercises s/he gives challenge you to work things out (at
your level), cause you to think about what the answers could be and
the exercises always seem to evolve and develop in line with your
development.
The teacher may also use some game to make more interesting lesson.
For example we have Curriculum ability with Salerno April. She
organizes with us interesting games like: BINGO, gummy beer,
snowballs. Through this games we discus and learn the English
language better.
The role of a teacher is to help students apply concepts, such as math,
English, and science through classroom instruction and presentations. Their
role is also to prepare lessons, grade papers, manage the classroom, meet
with parents, and work closely with school staff. Being a teacher is much
more than just executing lesson plans, they also carry the role of a
surrogate parent, disciplinarian, mentor, counselor, book keeper, role model,
planner and many more. The role of a teacher is clearly more than just
planning and executing lesson plans, it's also becoming the student's third
parent. Look at the amount of time teachers spend with their students. One
benefit of the role of a teacher is being a constant role model for their
students. Children that lack a solid family foundation will really benefit from
a positive role model. Teachers that portray an image of confidence and
accomplishment will help fulfill a child's need of a positive role model when
the family may fail to provide such a figure.
A teacher must have motherly love with their students (Means he
should be a mother in the school).
He must have Moral character and honesty.
He must be well prepared with his subjects.
He must have a good knowledge of his subjects.

Physically and mentally fit for the job.

He should be active and smart in the classroom.
While teaching he should use so many support materials.
The support material should be prepared himself.
The pupils should be joyful in the class.
