We are spinning our own fates, good or evil, and never to be undone. Every
smallest stroke of virtue or of vice leaves its never so little scar.

My Ritual
I start my day with a little prayer,
Thanking God for another airer.
Rise and shine upon my bed,
Brush my teeth and let my mouth fed.
The moment I wake up, I do the sign of the cross and offer a little prayer to God.
Thanking him for giving me another opportunity to do what I need and want to do, and
also, to undo those things that I know, are regrettable and injurious to me. Then I wash
my face, brush my teeth, as part of my hygiene, and in addition to be fully awake.

Before commencing a war against my books,

a minute to take in the mirror to check my looks.
Asking myself why studying hard like a crook,
Answering the same with my head shook.
After performing some hygiene, I am preparing myself to a battle, a war against my
studies. But first, I will myself in the mirror, scan my face and my body, to check and
examine if there are changes brought to me by law school. And when I feel down and
exhausted studying, I always think of my family, my dreams and my future. I do the
closing of eyes, imagining what I will become if I pursue and not give up on studies.

Every noon I take a nap,

To gather energy and back it up.
Stretching my legs, my arms and my neck;
Fighting the magnet that pulls me back to my deck.
Every four hours, I give myself a break. I believe in the power of quality over quantity.
Its not how long you study for the day, but what you comprehend matters. Having a
break, and giving your brain a rest will help you to understand more efficiently what you
are studying. The moment I wake up after that noon nap, I instantly stretch my legs, and
other part of my body, so that I will not be tempted to sleep again.

Before going to school I ask myself if I am prepared;

Whether or not I still dont care.
I always thought of the cash my parents spent,
Promised myself to study hard though my head bent.
The time to test my war skills has come, even I am prepared or not, I will go to school. I
will ask for the guidance of God through the Lady of Montserrat. I never thought of not
going to school or to cut classes, I value every single coin my parents devoted for me. I
just want to pay them back to all the goodness and sacrifices they are doing, without
them, I am nothing. I never give up on studying, I dont care if I do not get enough sleep,
or I do not sleep at all. As long as my duty as a student son is not yet done, I dont have
any rights to complain, because they, my parents are not complaining.

Calling it a day is not ended without a bath,

Kissing my dog a goodnight sleeping in the mat.
Thanking God again for seeing the moon,
I retire to the night dreaming to be successful soon.
Before going to bed, I clean myself. Being fresh and comfortable while resting will
accrue to the day after. You will have that energy needed for another day of battle. Of
course, my favorite part of the day, I kiss my dog every night. Dog is mans best friend,
even you twist and flip the word DOG backwards, it is still mans best friend, GOD.
