Develop, implement, and manage centralized in-house individual health insurance sales support center to assist health plans
and distributors through quoting, submission, problem resolution, material distribution, and administration and information
dissemination.
Created a centralized Sales Support unit servicing 30K independent agents and 12 diverse health plans from the
ground up. This included interviewing the sales leaders to determine the most needed services, developing the P&P,
hiring, training 17 staff and handle as many as 23K agent generated phone and e-mail transactions monthly.
Perform the hiring and training of staff including the development of essential training presentations.
Develop a strategic rollout process and schedule for new health plans through effective communication and planning.
Build and develop solid business relationships with health plan sales leadership.
Achieved 100% participation rate among Coventrys Health Plans with demand for services outpacing our ability to
on-board Health Plans at rollout.
Operated as the companys Communications Officer to Field Sales Management for a yearlong project that scoped
and out-sourced billing and enrollment functions to a 3rd party administrator. This process included the complete
documentation of business and operational implications for each health plan, drafting, development and distribution
of field communication and continuous meetings prior, during and post implementation.
Redeveloped the team for implementation of the Affordable Care Act as part of exchange readiness assuring that key
procedural changes were documented, staff trained and performed within the standards for open enrollment
experiencing a 3 fold increase in annual production during initial open enrollment.
