REVIEW AND BRIEF DESCRIPTION

First, let me give the definition, green computing is the study of designing,
manufacturing/engineering, usage and disposal of computing devices in a way that
reduces the environmental impact. Its all about reducing the hazardous or the things
that can harm our environment. It also motivates towards biodegradability of obsolete
products and factory waste. They are trying to prevent wasting of energies, or
electricities, so they are making this energy efficient devices to prevent from wasting
electricities.Because many device waste energy, or electronic waste. Electronic waste is
an increasing problem globally due to the quick replacements of electronics devices and
components. And base on research, most PCs are left idle whole day, which leads to
wastage of electricity. Also, Green computing is the study of utility of the resources
which are efficient and eco-friendly in a sustainable manner. Green computing includes
using resources in a way that reduces the usage of hazardous materials, Designing
objects and services that comply with the environment, recycling e-waste with no or little
impact on the environment is the prime motto behind the green computing. This
includes discovery and development of new products that reduces or eliminates the use
of hazardous substances in Manufacturing

DID THE ARTICLE HAVE A SCIENTIFIC MERIT?

I think the article doesnt have a scientific merit. Base on my research, scientific merit is
an important component of an IRBs evaluation of a study. This Course will discuss
concepts related to Scientific Merit. We will begin by examining the origins of scientific
merit within individual disciplines and within the Nuremberg Code and the Helsinki
Declaration. I did not see any scientific merit on that article. But, the information on the

article are all facts and are reliable. From what I understand, when an article or journal
has scientific merit, it will be more reliable

WAS THE PAPER WELL WRITTEN OR DIFFICULT TO FOLLOW?

The paper was written well, its not difficult to follow it. The information is all given, the
references, the history, everything. There are just some difficult words to understand.
The grammars and the meaning of the unusual words were given. I think, even a grade
6 student could understand the article. But all in all, the article is very helpful, I think this
will help me and also our environment.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ARE THE BENEFITS OF THIS ARTICLE? (150 words)
There are lots of benefits in this article. First, youll be conscious of what is going on in
the world right now, how are things going on in and out of the country. You will know all
the facts about the related article. This article gave me a lot of knowledge, gave me a lot
of learnings. This will change my point of view in life, because this time, I know the
wasted electricites and its effect in the world. From now on, I wont waste electricity.
Because I know what can be the outcome of my actions. Not only me, but also, I will
inform my family and friends what will be the effect of wasting electricities, or not being
concerned about that matter. The article made me think of a lot of things when i read it,
things that Ive done wrong, and things I can make right, right away.
