Target Audience
This conference is designed for specialists (gastroenterology, hepatology, infectious disease), primary care practitioners
(family and general practice, internal medicine), physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, residents and fellows,
pharmacists, public health professionals and others who manage patients with Hepatitis C, and/or HCV/HIV co-infection.

Learning Objectives
Increase awareness of Hepatitis C in the State of Arizona
Describe the epidemiology and natural history, and consequences of chronic Hepatitis C and the consequences chronic
Hepatitis C infection
Select the appropriate approved treatment for the various chronic Hepatitis C genotypes and special populations,
including those with cirrhosis, renal failure, and HIV/HCV coinfection
Implement a strategy to improve patient adherence to HCV treatment
