My genre consists of a basic, draft resume I will be revising, finalizing and submitting to
a company called Brand Promotions. This company is an marketing company that provides
services at special events through displays. Brand Promotions solely market/advertise the brands
at the events they are booked for. The company is involved mainly in auto sports and the brands
connected to the sport. The resume genre is the important communication tool between the
potential employer and the potential employee.

A position on the road crew to set up displays and utilize my people skills to convey the
significant aspects of the brands. The skills I possess and have improved over the years fit the
desired skills for the position: Communication, Creativity, and Team Adaptability.

My best section would be my skills. The skills fit the job position and
I have a variety of skills to provide to the company. This section is short
and to the point.

Besides the title (Name, Address, Email, etc.), since this is a draft,
my organization of the main sections seem to be a little off. The
arrangement of information or my descriptions may need a little revising.

The resume is written in a more formal type language since professionalism is
an important first impression characteristic. The information provided needs to be
short and to the point, but sufficient enough to get the point across to the employer.
The way the information is conveyed needs to be persuasive as well.
