0745 Keluar hostel + breakfast + beratur beli ticket Dolmabahce Palace (5 lira)
[Simply take the tram from Cemberlitas stop to Kabatas and walk another 400
meters from Kabatas to Dolmabahce palace. Tram costs 1.75 TL/person. Just
cross towards the sea at the traffic lights, turn left, walk behind the petrol station
where the small ferries land from/to Uskudar and Kadikoy, and you will be on the
wide sidewalk towards Dolmabahce Mosque. There is a watch tower square and
the entrance to the palace after that. To go to Taksim from Dolmabahce palace,
simply walk the 400 meters back to tram stop, but this time go underground and
take the one stop funicular (metro) to Taksim. It will cost 1.75 TL/person. When
you take the funicular to Taksim, you can take the handicapped elevator which
will deposit you in the middle of Taksim square. Istiklal Street will be on your left
when you come out of the elevator.]
